It is situated on the northeastern end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the Canada–US border, and separated from its twin city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, by the St. Marys River. The city is relatively isolated from other communities in Michigan and is 346 miles from Detroit. The population was 14,144 at the 2010 census, making it the second-most populous city in the Upper Peninsula. By contrast, the Canadian Sault Ste. Marie is much larger, with more than 75,000 residents, based on more extensive industry developed in the 20th century and an economy with closer connections to other communities.

It was next to the hotel we were staying at and we took a chance on a Dominos Pizza at the Soo. It was actually had a very good cheese and the topping were fresh. It was baked long enough so that all the fresh veggies did not make the crust soggy. all and all not bad.

My mother, two sisters & I had spent the afternoon shopping and didn't feel like making dinner so this was the perfect choice. I had never eaten the deep dish pizza before- it was fantastic- love having lots of corners! We had the 3 meat one plus two other pizzas and all were delicious. The girl behind the corner was very helpful and patient as we couldn't make up our minds! I would go here again.

We dined in here on January 5, 2017 and it was spot on as usual. The service is good and staff is friendly. They also have a nice salad bar here and its always good. We ordered personal pizzas and they were made right and perfectly baked. I think they have the best pizza around.

I was very impressed how my order was delivered in only about 25 minutes! All of the food was very good and all was exactly as ordered. The only minor thing wrong was I requested fat free Italian dressing and they gave me regular.

Had a very nice experience here tonight. Most of our family is gluten free and very sensitive. They were very good about answering my questions and offered to bake my pizza on a disposable dish to help prevent contamination. We've been GF 14 years and I've had LOTS of gluten free pizza and I would say this was very good quality pizza. The crust was not the normal GF texture (I even questioned if it was GF because it looked so good). :) The toppings were high quality and cheese was amazing. Very nice staff, came out to ask how everything was. The only improvement I would like to see is to have a bit better space for dining in. But I would totally order here again. We are only in town a couple days but I might see if we can stop by for more pizza before leaving. :) My friend that can eat gluten had an amazing deep dish pizza too.

The garlic knots are delicious!!!! The pizza is a great thin crust, extremely nice staff!!! We will be back next time we are in town. A bonus was we were traveling with someone from Finland and we didn't realize they put chopped lettuce on all their pizzas and she thought the day's special was great!!!
