A roman corner in the heart of Santa Cruz, here you can taste the typical "Pinsa Tomana " (higly digestible pizza made with sourdough), "Suppli'", the real "Rigatoni Carbonara " (no cream, please!) and a lot more as "Millefoglie di Porchetta" (a revisited
Went to this resultant with a few friends, getting a table was easy as the restaurant was quite empty. First let down was there was no lasagna, even tho' there was a couple of lasagna's on the menu. The staff seemed really slow and not slow as in letting us choose our food and drink, but slow as in had no idea what they were doing. Serving wine was almost cringe worthy, it was like being at 'forty towers'.The worse part about being at this restaurant was the portion sizes. I ended up having the ravioli, as they didn't have the lasagna, for 10⬠all I got was 9 pieces of ravioli. Don't get me wrong, I was alright, not great but alright. An Italian would have a fit if they were served up the portions this place does. When approached about the portion sizes the staff didn't care how the customers felt, they brushed it off as if customer service didn't matter. One of the worse meals I have on my holiday. I'd hate to think how bad the other Italian restaurants are if this is the best one!

This restaurant was full and really buzzing on a Friday night. The menu was quite straightforward basically pizza or pasta, all at 7 euros. My seafood pasta was outstanding with generous quantities of squid and whole prawns. Wine, dessert and coffee were also good, and reasonably priced. Although they were extremely busy, service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

The pizza is among the best pizzas I have eaten outside Italy. Very thin and crisp and very tasty topping. The prices are fair and the waiter was polite but not very good at english.

My husband and I dined here at lunchtime today. From our shared Bruschetta starter, Ravioli Mains and shared tiramisu we greatly enjoyed our meal. We had a lovely carafe of red wine and finished with coffees. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient and the chef even made a slight change to the sauce on my ravioli as requested. We had a fabulous window seat and thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite view as we ate our lunch. We will definitely return to Pizzeria Mamma Lucia at the earliest opportunity. Many thanks for the great dining experience.
