In this small college town, privately owned Pie Society stands out from all the rest--there far too many franchise operations in the city! It is good to go to a pizza place where the surroundings are a little more personalized than the franchise sites. That is not to say it is great, but it is nice to have it look a little different!The drill is that you order from the cashier at the front door, find a table and wait a very short time for the food and drinks. Other than alcohol drinks, it is self serve from the soda station. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service friendly--what you expect in an "average" restaurant. Other than the food there is little to "move the needle" on this operation. However, the food was excellent, but not enough ton move it to a 4. Parking for this "strip center" location is in front and it is crowded! The site has a number of different restaurants to appeal to the college kinds. The prices here are reasonable and drinks are readily available.

We stopped here while driving through and I am so glad we did. New restaurant with standard seating as well as an outdoor and couch/group seating area. Excellent pizza with dipping sauces. They have a good selection ready to grab by the slice and also a standard menu. The fountain drinks are not the standard brands and were very good. We had the jalopeno popper, cheese and pepperoni pizzas with ranch, marinara and garlic butter dipping sauces...all were really good. This place is definitely worth stopping by.

Figaro's is a great choice of a pizza place for adults, offering excellent crust, a wide range of toppings, delicious sides, appetizers, and salads, and many drink options. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is upbeat. Prices are modest. Far better than any pizza chain restaurant.
