Marra's is a local restaurant the which always meets your expectations. My linguine with white manilla clam sauce was cooked to perfection, although it could have used a bit more sauce for bread dipping. The Chicken Milanese was also seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. The service was very efficient. The server was attentive and courteous. My only complaint, which is outside of the restaurant's control, is the clientele seemed to be on the rude and impolite side of normal. Although not enough for me to stop eating at the establishment.

Let me start by saying this is a very casual counter service restaurant with cafeteria style service and tables. This is not a sit down waiter service restaurant. It is a Kosher restaurant as well, which means it is closed on Saturday.Jerusalem Restaurant has consistently been excellent for as long as I have been going there (over 20 years). If you are interested in Mediterranean style food, they have it all. Chumus, babaganoosh, every type of salad you could think of. What I love about the place are their dinner plates, that allow you to choose any three items behind the counter. Food is clearly prepared fresh, and every day the variety switches up just enough to keep you interested week after week to return. I would say I eat here at least once a week, sometimes more. For those of you interested in Pizza, they have very unusual vegetarian pizzas, for example, Pepperoni, Sausage and onion, Taco pie, Baked ziti pie, stuffed crust, and many more. There is also a fish selection each day and always a small sushi bar, producing decent sushi on the smaller side. (I would not come here for the sushi, but it certainly is not bad, its just not a sushi restaurant). Favorite Dishes: Jerusalem plate (5 different Mediterranean salads and falafel balls and a couple of pita breads), enough to share. I am also a huge fan of the teriyaki salmon.

Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.

We met up with friends here for a nice meal out. After our waitress had the wine opened we agreed on 6 items off the hot/cold antipast menu. A mix of cured meats, cheeses and peppers. I enjoyed all of them. Dinner was a veal dish with risotto. It was ok. I was hungry and did not mind it, but from a flavor profile view, it was a bit bland. Risotto is tough because the longer it sits, it becomes more glutenous and when not prepared to order its going seize up a bit. Dessert, on a whim, I orderd the tri-color Italian cake and it was outstanding. Picture included.

We first came here in February and we really pleased. We ate this evening and food just gets better and better. The clans casino were delicious. We each had the veal princepesa and enjoyed it tremendously. The servers are wonderful and the owner very friendly and gracious. A wonderful find.

We have been ordering from Tony D's for several years and always ordered the wild mushroom or the sausage and Gorgonzola which are always terrific but last week decided to try something different. We ordered the vegetable pizza which is a square pizza cut into squares but the crust was thin and delicious and my preference. Not a thick Sicilian crust which is typical for a square pie. The vegetables- zucchini and roasted pepper- were perfectly cooked and the cheese and sauce were perfect as well. Be aware for planning purposes that there is usually a wait- sometimes 45 minutes or more for take out- but it is always worth it.

I had a business lunch here. I ordered the eggplant Napolitano which was a large pile of eggplant that wasn't breaded- it was just made with a light egg batter which was nice. However, the tomato sauce was very acidic. Also, although I really like eggplant, it was just too much eggplant as an entree and should have been served with less eggplant and something on the side such as pasta. My biggest issue though were the prices- I thought the prices were high, especially for lunch. Note that although the menu on the restaurant website is the same, the prices are actually almost double than shown on the website.

Great meal with those garlic knots. Large skinny pizza and then Homemade gnocchi covered in cheese. Pasta with bolognese sauce and lobster ravioli. Finished with famous signature coconut cream pit and cappuccino. Crowded as usual. Service was a tad off but still a wonderful evening over the raucous loud crowd.

My husband, daughter and I have birthdays all within 3 weeks. We took our immediate family here for dinner Saturday. They were very accommodating. We split 2 ginger calamari and one regular marinara. We had 1 Chicken Margherita, 3 Chicken Giambotta, 2 Chicken Francese,1 Chicken Piccata, 1 Calzone and a hot dog. Everything was delicious and the waitress Dora, was very helpful. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We will make this our regular Italian Restaurant.

Really tasty wood fired pizzas made from quality ingredients. Friedly and helpful staff. Unfortunately will not be back as we are visiting from the UK. Mores the pity, as I could easily have become a regular here.
