What a gem of a find in the backstreets of Avignon! Persevere to find this small restaurant in the back streets of Avignon, it is well worth the visit. Very busy but small pizzeria / Italian eatery. Excellent food and equally good service. Definitely recommended and worth the effort which is out of the tourist trap. Large sized pizzas and carbonara served in the frying pan which is quite novel. Very reasonable prices too.

A crazy-busy night, at the height of the Avignon festival, and we were still seated quickly and served promptly, with friendly, courteous service. Kudos to the hard-working staff for keeping it all going! Delicious pizza and good value on the rosé we selected.

A recommander !

We all ate pizzas which were very good. Service was efficient and the waiter helpful. The area does get quite busy with bars nearby and is a draw for younger people. For decent food at a good price this is one of the better large restaurants.

We were staying as a guest of someone in Avignon and she recommended this restaurant. As we walked in, we received a warm welcome and there seemed to be a nice atmosphere of people enjoying themselves during our mid-week visit. While we don't speak French and the server had very limited English - we worked together to place our order. Our kids wanted pepperoni pizzas but somehow ended up with red pepper pizzas. Oh well . . . it wasn't their mistake and we like to try new things. For U.S. visitors, each person orders a pizza for themselves as they are not as large as most of our pizzas. The pizzas are about the size of a large dinner plate with relatively thing crust. The pizza was quite tasty. My wife had a squid with pasta which she enjoyed. I had ravioli which was tasty but not outstanding. We thought the prices were a little bit on the high side for the type of the food that we chose but certainly within reason. The service was good and the staff treated us very well. The bartender was very nice to our kids entertaining them and giving them some candy on the way out - our kids really enjoyed his humor. We enjoyed our visit.
Fresh products, homemade tomato sauce, candied onions, hand-spread dough. A delicious atmosphere awaits you every weekend on our beautiful terrace.

Superb pizza / amazing service - a true hidden gem in the quiet town of Saze. After a few nights of traditional French cuisine we were in need of a change and were told about this new pizza spot - so glad we made the drive! A little hard to find as on a one way / small side street but think crust cooked to perfection / toppings fresh and plentiful / service amazing. And prices just right after a Michelin dinner the night before! A great spot when in Provence! Only a few tables so recommend making a reservation as the night we were there it was full at 8:30.
