Had my first slice of "LONGHI'S" pie when I was 7. I have set the inner pie standard on their mark back in the early days of my life - around 1968. There are other good pies out there, but this pie informs all the layers of goodness that those pies aspire toward.49 years later, back in town for business, my heart has come to rest - THIS IS STILL THE SAME PIE. The tomatoe sauce is perfect, not too sweet, not acidic, not tinny, not too salty. It tastes like fresh tomatoes that have been made into sauce in the back room - with a hint of oregano - not too much. The cheese is not over powering - if you wanted that you'd order extra cheese. Creamy and carmelized by the ovens. And, the crust - oh the crust - the crust and crumb carry the same tawny color and crispy crunch, hints of semolina and corn in the after taste - a trick of the chef that knows how to use an oven to perfect dough. Don't come here and not order a pie - even if to have one slice with your meal. Take the pie home.THE BEST PIZZA.

The food at Aldo's is always great, but this review is regarding the snowstorm of March 7. After receiving 12-16 inches on wet heavy snow, and suffering from a widespread power outage in the area we were looking for a place to get some good food for dinner. After driving for a bit and realizing power was out to all of the homes and businesses in the area we found that Aldo's has partial power (likely due to a generator). They were lightly staffed but were working very hard to fulfill orders for the many weary customers looking for a cooked meal. The woman taking orders was handling the onslaught, fielding phone calls and dealing with walk-in customers (like ourselves). The staff were frantically making dozens of pizzas, cheesesteaks and everything else. Thank you Aldo's for serving us a good meal on a very rough day.

Maggio's offers an extensive menu of Italian and non Italian entree items. A wide variety of sandwiches and a comprehensive breakfast menu with omelettes and such. They also offer an array of fresh salads. Our server was excellent and particularly helpful and atentive. There is a bar with big screen TV's as well as several banquet rooms. There is ample parking. I believe thatchy even have a Keno parlor. We found the food to be OK, not exemplary. When the restaurant gets busy, it get noisy and difficult to have a serious conversation.Seems to be a hit with locals.Thank you for you taking the time and making the effort to post your review. I am sorry that you found our family owned restaurant only average. Since we opened Maggioâs in 1976 we have always attempted to produce the absolute best in foods, drinks, cleanliness, and ambience. Your review will be shared with our valued staff and every effort to make sure our high standards are and continue to be met.We hope a return visit will produce a much better experience for you and your guests. A family member is always on the premises and can be spoken with by a simple request. Our goal has always been and will always remain to be the absolute best of the best.Thank you,Michael From Maggioâs

Acqua e Farina Wood-Fired Neapolitan pizzeria has been found by Anna and Pasquale, owners of Vecchia Osteria ,well known Italian restaurant in Newtown. Acqua e Farina, family runned authentic pizzeria Napoletana, offer the freshest ingredient like San Mar
Tried this restaurant because of the reviews. First of all, very small place, but crowded (thought that was a good sign). Parking bad, rushed through dinner. We had 2 personal pizzas, 2 sodas & the meatball appetizer for a whopping $50. The pizza was mostly crust, the sauce & cheese were about 2 inches from the sides & sauce was acidic (weâve eaten Neapolitan pizza before). The meatballs were $14 for 2 (generous size), reviews said 3. Very little amount of ricotta & mozzarella inside, plus cold inside (maybe frozen & reheated) & 3 pieces of grizzle (ugh!). Donât know why they got such high reviews!?!?As our background is Italian, our grandmothers would be appalled!

Tony's is our favorite HH in the area. We usually order dinner as well but the drinks are all half price. Great place for a Sunday afternoon lunch, very quiet when on the restaurant side. Hubby likes to the bar area with friends for game day.

Family restaurant, party room and outside covered seating is a Richboro treasure. This restaurant has been in the area for years and continues to improved year after year. The relatively new restaurant seats more people than before. Italian food is great and a large menu to choose what dish you desire. We usually go to happy hour and enjoy the food and the bar. We go regularly to Giuseppe's and have for years. Thanks so much for you review and years of business. We are so happy to hear you are pleased with our great food and commitment to continuously upgrade and improve. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you for many years to come.

FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED SINCE 1974. We hand toss our pizzas and top them with the best whole milk mozzarella & home made pizza sauce. Our pizza dough is made from scratch and allowed to proof overnight to develop a flavorful crust. We are especially pro
This was the first time ever that we weren't pleased as normal. The waitress was unfamiliar with the order taking, there was no fresh salad bar, and the food we selected was a very unusual mix. It was the special of the day, always a winner, but not now. Salmon, shrimp, crab, and tiny clams just didn't get our usual 5âï¸ rating. The lemon sauce didn't help the flavors and the clams were not tender. The pasta, served with red sauce, did not help enhance the flavor. Best part of the meal? The wine.

Nice, family friendly place. A little noisy but comfortable. Large variety of menu options. I had the crispy chicken salad. It was fresh with lots of chicken. Our total bill was $35.00 for three meals, which is a great value. Service was terrific too. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Vry nice place for a good meal.

One of our favorites - have enjoyed many delicious meals in this Ivyland establishment. The dining room is beautifully appointed & the menu choices plentiful, including several specials for the evening. We were warmly greeted by Sara on our arrival & quickly seated for another delightful meal - a bread basket w/ a sliced, warmed loaf & roasted peppers provided on the house. On this occasion, we shared Taormina's Antipasti (provolone, prosciutto, soppressata, roasted peppers, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts & tomatoes) before moving on to the entrée course. For my husband, he enjoyed - as always - Veal Saltimbocca (topped with prosciutto, spinach & mozzarella cheese, served in a white wine lemon sauce). It was served with a side of penne pasta with their delicious red sauce. I chose one of the evening's specials - Salmon in a Almond & Blackberry sauce - unusual & lovely (slightly sweet without being too cloying).
