Excellent waitress, who said she'd been coming to Drag's herself for 50 years. We ordered the Italian Fiesta dinner for two. It ended up being three meals for each of us! Ravioli, spaghetti, lasagna, a salad and garlic bread. Didn't care for the blue cheese dressing on the salad. The pastas were ok, nothing outstanding. But a lot of food for the money, good service, and a nice, family atmosphere. When you hit a restaurant at 5 p.m. on a Tuesday, in the winter in the northland, and the tables are FULL, you know they are doing something right. Next time we plan to try the pizza, as nearly everyone around us was enjoying theirs. We were also surprised by the number of patrons in the back bar area, that early on a weeknight. They obviously have a very loyal following.
The pizza is usually consistently made. It sometimes comes a little greasy but has decent flavor. It's a favorite at our office, but wouldn't be my first choice. Delivery is always on time and the pizza is always very hot. The price is competitive with all the other pizza in town. Is there better pizza in town? Maybe, but Kid's Korner is also a good choice!
We met another couple here for lunch and we each ordered a medium pizza. First the positive: staff was friendly and helpful. Pizza was terrible, the sausage on the pizzas smelled and tasted old. We won't be back. There weren't many there, so I think more people feel the same way we do.If you want pizza go to Drags, they are always good. Or get a Papa Murphy's and bake it at home.
