Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Reykjavik. Reykjavik bears the distinction of being the world’s northernmost capital, and for many Icelandic visitors it also serves as a gateway to the rugged adventure options beyond. Recharge after outdoor pursuits in one of the many geothermal springs or luxurious indoor spas. We appreciate Reykjavik’s open-minded and energetic culture that includes a hip and internationally recognized music and arts scene, great food and notoriously "enthusiastic" nightlife.

Went with the family after a nice concert to test this pizza place for the first time. Nice little local pizza place with various pizza options. Some might feel it little crammed as it does not have many seats for guests. They were quite busy when we arrived but we got seats fairly quick. I wish though the seating area was more cosy which would make this place more attractive. We got different pizza for everyone and they were all very good. The only major downsize in my opinion was the price, which I thought was too expensive. For their defence they offered lower price to those who had take-away which is a good concept.

Stopped for lunch and was extremely pleased. The restaurant is in an old house-authentic, warm and welcoming for a chilly Icelandic day. The seafood risotto was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Had a nice dry, crisp and cold house white wine that was great and a good value. Service was impeccable. Wonderful experience!!

The restaurant is located down by Reykjavik´s old harbour, just a walking distance from the city centre. Our building, named Solfell, was built in Reykjavik in 1921 by Th. Thorsteinsson for the production of bacalao. The history of the house, the great vi
Sunday August 18.We visited with a group of five and ordered three different dishes (3x Tortellini, 1x Tagliatelle and 1 Cheese pizza) and two 500ml Peroni beers. The Tortelliniâs were good but with the Tagliatelle, we couldnât find any pine nuts although it was mentioned on the menu. The pizza lacked a bit of taste although the jam was a nice touch. Our waitress was kind and under normal circumstances, I would have given 4 stars. The issue started after I paid the bill (incl. a tip). When walking out I noticed I got overcharged on the beers: 2x 1390 Krona instead of 2x900. I took a menu to check if I remembered right and yes: 500ml Peroni 900 Krona. The waitress didnât know exactly what to do and asked a male waiter. I have been to a lot of restaurants but his attitude baffled me... It was clear he didnât want to do anything to rectify the mistake. He basically said arrogantly that the menu was wrong and his computer was right and that I should have noticed it was too cheap. With remarks like âI didnât type the menuâ and âI didnât make the mistakeâ he just did everything wrong in the book. Customer is King is something he clearly never heard of... Even our waitress was embarresed by his behaviour. You can check my history: I donât complain a lot and the total issue was less than the tip I left the waitress but itâs the principle: âIF YOU MAKE THE MISTAKE, YOU DONâT LET THE CUSTOMER PAY FOR ITâ.

A group of 15 of us were visiting Iceland from NYC. We stayed in a fabulous airbnb above The Deli, and decided to order from them for our Friday night dinner. I emailed The Deli a few days in advance to prepare them for our large order - 4 cheese, 4 pepperoni, 1 large salad. They emailed me back immediately, and reassured me that this would be a perfect amount for our group ... and we would have leftovers! They also accommodated our group by making a large salad to feed all of us ... the salad was DELICIOUS! We truly appreciated the great service and delicious food from The Deli. We will be sure to stop by here on our next visit. THANK YOU!!!Thank you, appreciate it :)

On our first visit at lunchtime we ordered a lamb plate and a chicken plate. The plate came with meat, rice, salad, two dips and half a flat bread - it was so tasty and very filling (just what we needed to set us up for a busy afternoon sightseeing) The waitress was lovely, very polite and attentive and the food came quickly. Our second visit was in the evening and we had fish and chips - quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! The waitress remembered us and despite it being near closing time we got great service and a smile. Great place for a meal at very reasonable prices.
