This past Thursday night my band stopped here for some socializing after a holiday gig at a nearby nursing home. In fact, when we perform at nearby venues we always stop here afterwards for pizza and beer. The pizza is delicious. The service as always has been excellent. To be sure we did not interrupt their closing time we sent a few people to the restaurant to order our food. This worked out great for everyone. The new owners are doing a great job continuing the great customer relations from the previous owners.

We had the cheeseburger and fries as a takeout the other night. Bartender checked on the order and rang it up lickety-split. It was hot and delicious. A winner.

I'm particular when it comes to pizza. This place came recommend to me and I decided to try it out. Pizza tasted great. Reasonably priced. It is definitely a busy place, especially during peak times. Even so, things moved prettyâ quickly. If you'reâ not walking, parking could be a bit of an inconvenience but it's downtown so that is to be expected. Would recommend!

On the recommendation of a colleague in Albany, Restaurant Navona was recommended for our rather large group's Saturday night meal. The restaurant was ready when we arrived, and the seating area accommodated the needs of our reservation. The waitstaff was very friendly and took immense pride in what the restaurant had to offer its patrons. Orders were taken relatively quickly, and the group's appetizers arrived together rather than piecemeal. The evening's mussels and clams were prepared perfectly, and when we requested additional bread to sop-up the flavorful broth, there was no second thought about bring more. And, speaking of their bread, all dough is made in-house and used for both their breads and the pizza crust. Many in our group ordered an individual pizza, which was more than satisfying and delectable. No one left Restaurant Navona unsatisfied. In fact, the group continued to remark that this evening's meal was one of the best they had experienced in quite some time. Kim, the owner, is a gracious hostess, topping off a memorable dining experience with anecdotes about the restaurant's history, philosophy on food, and their locavore tradition. Highly recommended.
