We visited this restaurant at lunchtime. There were 40 of us for lunch, and so the menu was fixed, as it is impossible for the restaurant to cater for 40 different people all at once. Service was efficient and pleasant. To start we had a platter of deep fried mozzarella, gnocchi and polenta, plus home made crisps and what may have been a fish cake, although this wasn't something I had. There was then a choice of breaded veal or chicken, or both, with vegetables. There was a very nice red wine served with the meal and there was a choice of sparkling or still water. The abundance of the wine has contributed to the fact I can't even remember what I had for dessert! There was espresso afterwards. All in all, a very nice restaurant.

Breakfast here almost every day for a month: excellent coffee including decaf, the classic espresso or an americano, and any kind of croissant: plain, chocolate, nutella, honey, pistachio, orange, apple, apricot... Actually it was less than two euros because they gave the students of Dante Alighieri a 10% discount. My friends and I worked our way through the croissant display, and the friendly guy at the bar remembered our preferences and what we had tried last time. On days when we felt like something savory, they had sandwiches with ham and cheese. Lunch features pizza and piedini and sandwiches. Popular also with the local teens, construction workers, and pretty much everyone who can overflow from the tiny bar onto the covered patio, Bar Miro somehow managed the potential chaos and pour a perfect cup of coffee anytime. Unlike the bigger cities in Italy, it's the same price whether you slam down your coffee standing at the bar or linger at a table for as long as you want. So when we visited Rome and Florence and were charged 4.50 for a coffee, we would sigh and say "We're not in Recanati anymore..."

Traveling with the family(2 month old and 22 month old) and finding Il Diamante di Alejandro was perfect. Pizza by the slice, with a crust made thin and tasty, and slices for 1 euro to 1.50 Euro was easy on the wallet. I particularly liked the pizza diavolo and the margarita for 1 euro was fine. Just regretted that I underestimated how much I would eat and I should have opted for a whole pizza of the Diaovolo which I think would have a been a few euros less ;-). It's generally a no nonsense take away but it has a few covered tables outside on a strategic cross road only a short walk to Parco Letterario Giacomo Leopardi. Highly recommend it for lunch.

Maybe pizza is good. Location is nice. Menù seems to be the same from the '80s. Almost every dish has sour cream in it. They even still make Pennette vodka!! Long time to be served. I ordered a horrifying filetto pepe verde. 18 euro. Horrifying. So many better options around. Do not go to this restaurant.

Cibo davvero buono e casereccio.

Average food, good service, medium priced, nice atmosphere. I ordered insalata and pizza. The Insalata ( mix salad) was very simple, only green leaves, little tomatoes and carrots, but was fresh. My pizza was burned and not the best. My friend ordered meat with mushrooms and really like it. Definitely you can eat somewhere a much better and bigger pizza for 8 euros and not burned.
