We visited Massimo's and really liked our pasta dishes for dinner-they gave us large portions and a slice of bread. We also ordered a salad; if you takeout, you get a side salad free! Mostly clean bathroom and nice decorations and atmosphere, lots of seating, tvs, quick and friendly service, and lots of reasonably-priced menu items. I would recommend!

Not sure how they put out the large servings they do in the high rent Princeton business district. Very good product for the value. Our group of three ordered pizza slices, a hot sandwich, and a chicken Caesar salad. Everything was good. There was enough salad left for another meal and this was the small size -- there's a bigger size available. The sandwich came with fries and it was too much. Only the person ordering two slices was able to finish their lunch. Quality was good. Service was quick enough. Oddly, the booths had napkin dispensers and ketchup bottles, but the round tables did not. Seemed odd. A service bar did have those items available. This place also serves frozen yogurt with a wide choice of toppings. We did not try that, but many others were having it, so it must be good. Right on Nassau Street, almost directly across from the main gates of Princeton University. Well worth a stop.

A month ago, we tried the Brooklyn pizza and fell in love with the Pizza. We thought we would try again. Ordered same pizza again and were highly disappointed. The pie was greasy with no taste as the last time. What happened ? Suggestion to take out or eat the pizza somewhere else as there is nothing special eating at this place.

Some business visitors from Maryland had gone to Nomad for lunch on a previous trip a few months prior, and when they came again, they emphatically requested going to Nomad again for lunch. That's a pretty good recommendation. As for myself, the margherita pizza was excellent, especially the crust. And the boxed pieces I took home were still tasty two and three days later.

As a native of Princeton, NJ who dined at Conteâs recently with my family I am always amazed at how such an oddly located pizza joint that hasnât changed its decor for decades can attract so many ( it usually requires a long wait..) The answer is simple: very good pizza. Conteâs, a Princeton institution for decades, is located in a residential neighbourhood in Princeton a few blocks from Route 206, but not that easy to find. After an afternoon of Christmas shopping on a Sunday, I drove to Conteâs with my wife and two college-aged kids for an early dinner at 5:50pm on a Sunday, hoping to avoid a wait. Amazingly Conteâs was already packed and the line got bigger â we waited 25 minutes for a table. When we left around 7:30pm there were about 20 people in line, likely facing a 45-minute wait for a table.Conteâs is like a factory that cranks off pizzas and pours beer to its devoted patrons willing to endure a long wait for pizza, or pasta, and beer. While the staff is pleasant, itâs clear they are eager to turn tables to move diners in and out to optimize profits. It occurs to me that the old tables and uncomfortable chairs ( circa 1970 ) are not conducive to a lengthy stay.. they donât want you to linger but free up your table for the next guests. Conteâs serves very good pizza and they offer a decent mix of menu items plus a nice assortment of beer on tap or bottled. Donât go for the ambiance nor a fancy meal, but if you are looking for a unique pizza joint and you can tolerate a long wait to be seated, give it a try!

Simple Italian inspired fare in a neighborhood trattoria style atmosphere in Princeton's Palmer Square. Fresh, local ingredients, seasonal pasta dishes, pizzette and a predominantly regional Italian wine list.
