Restaurant at the back of bar. Very lively restaurant with good young ambience. Not really the place for a quiet romantic dinner. I had pasta which was ok and my husband had Thai curry, not great and very small portion for price. Good selection of Pizza if that's what your looking for. Noisey with plenty of atmosphere

We've just returned from Sauze and dined at the La Griglia on the 30th and 31st. We stumbled across this place on our first night - not knowing that it is one of the few remaining restaurants with a clay oven. Had we known this, we would have gone for a pizza but we didn't and I'm afraid we made the wrong choice. My partner had a steak meal and I had Gnocchi which were just OK . . . not amazing as the reviews suggested. As we'd not forward planned and booked anywhere for New Years Eve, we decided to try our luck here. It was a set menu of 6 courses for 60 Euros. Our table was booked for 8:30pm and we were still waiting on the Main Course at 11:30pm - as a result, we had to leave in order to celebrate New Year in the square. Of the courses we ate, they were mostly "beige" and although they were OKish taste wise, they didn't look at all appetizing on a plate. I suspect that this place specializes in Pizzas and if you do visit, I would recommend that you still to these options. However, we must say that the service, welcome and staff were excellent.

Went with the family. Simple menu of pizzas, salads and baked potatoes. Modern setting right in the center. Quality pizza, kids and Italian wife very happy. Had a baked potato with speck and gorgonzola, really good. Will definitely be back here

Cpminichiamo alla gentile clientela che la pizzeria resterà chiusa per un periodo di riposo. Riapriremo per la stagione estiva.
Great mountain village atmosphere, amazing pizza and fair prices. Good idea to reserve in advance. If you're skiing in Sestriere, it is a 'must-visit' restaurant. And just next door, there is La Cioca - at least as much worth a visit, but also; remember to reserve a table in advance.

Canât praise this place enough for a quick lunch. Once weâd eaten here our kids wouldnât have lunch anywhere else. You buy the pizza by the slice, thereâs different toppings to choose each day then either eat in or take away. All at a very reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our visit. Cosy, friendly atmosphere. We visited on a Sat night and the place was full of Italian families. We shared a starter, then had a pizza each. The pizzas were great & huge -we couldn't finish them ! The waitress spoke excellent English and offered to give us the leftovers home but since we were leaving the next day we didn't take them.

Tried to sum in the title...basically in this place you can taste top pizza's, amazing cheeses, tasty meats, with fresh and genuine ingredients and receipts, in a fantastic friendly environment, that actually after 10 mins you feel yourself being part of the family friends of the place. The people working there are smiling, funny, willing you to enjoy the food as their first priority.this gives the "cherry on the cake" to the ability of the people in the kitchen. I just discovered this place but of course they will see me again and again.

We tried this place for lunch twice during winter holidays (the first time the restaurant was half empty the second almost full but disaster occurred). Overall food is of good quality for a mountain restaurant right off the slope of Pragelato, gnocchi and tagliolini were good, whereas charcuterie was dry and salty. Pizza was a disaster. The service showed complete lack of organisation and experience. We entered at 12:30 of maybe the busiest day of the year (January the 2nd) and tables were about to be setup for lunch (??). At 13:00 after having received part of our ordering we were informed that pizza would have taken 15 mins more because the owen was not yet ready heated (???). Pizza arrived at 13:45 (??????). Table next to us, while having ordered before us, still did not receive their pizza and left the restaurant. The restaurant has 8 to 10 tables (max 40 guests) and 3 persons of staff, simply incapable of planning and organisation. Go elsewhere.

It seems like a cosy and nice place to eat with the family. But when we asked the waitress for pizzas she shook her head in disbelief. They didn't have any pizzas!! When I asked why they call themselves pizzeria she just left our table. Unbelievable, rude. The food we than ordered was of medium quality. No thank you, never again.
