Reviews on Pizza food in Positano, Province of Salerno, Italy. Once a vital part of a mighty sea power, Positano is today a sophisticated resort on the central Amalfi Coast. Moorish-style architecture rises up steep slopes that gaze out on the Sirenuse Islands. Smart boutiques, selling fashions for visitors to display on Grand Beach, abound in the village. And it’s a great base for exploring the area—you can easily travel by boat to Capri, Ischia and the Grotta dello Smeraldo cave.

Very touristy spot on the beach. Came here for dinner and felt like we were unwillingly participating in a skit written for tourists who want to feel flirted with. Was absolutely unsolicited and definitely off-putting. The least upsetting thing that happened was that the pasta dish I ordered wasnât the one I was served... it was fine, but one of the few meals in Italy that hasnât been memorable. Skip it.

The pizza here is really top notch. All ingredients are fresh and delicious. Tried the black rice salad with shrimp, avacado, cherry tomatoes, corn, etc. Surprisingly good. The views are to die for. The service was good. Prices were reasonable for Positano. Great night out.

Positano Hills Bakery is located at the center of one of the most characteristic squares of Positano, Piazza dei Mulini. It enjoys a large terrace, from which it is easy to become an integral part of a scene so characteristic as that of the Piazza dei Mul
Very average service, I appreciate a dry sense of humour and sarcasm but I felt like it was used inappropriately with no real sense of customer service. In the end, I don't think they were being sarcastic, they were just rude.We were told no to several very reasonable requests without any alternatives. For example when ordering a plain croissant, we were simple told 'no, we've ran out' no alternative was given, it was very awkward. We ordered some tap water, was also advised no - we had to buy there filtered water which was just tap water that was in the fridge, one bottle was 3.5 euro! The food was super average, the chicken schnitzel tasted like what I would have ordered from a school canteen. Very processed and definitely not fresh! 13 euro!My friend ordered the egg and bacon and it looked as though it has been thrown on a plate and was the smallest portion. We have been travelling for a month across Europe and this was by far the worst service and food to date. Don't bother!

Restaurant on the beach in Positano with umbrellas e deck service, food and drink.
Decided to have lunch and had pasta njoci if I spent it right. It was amazing meal but wish portions was larger. It seems when u order meals in Italy unless its pizza then meals are not really large. The overall restaurant is great location. Price is resonable where it is and staff like Raffaelo makes the pleasant experienceThank you mate

I came here for dinner, as it was close to our hotel at 'Spiaggia Fornillo' and had been walking past it everyday and had not visited it as I had been here 10yrs ago and wanted to try other ristorantes in Positano that I hadn't been to before. I now realise that I should always visit lo Guarracino at least once everytime I come back to Positano. The food was great fresh seafood fare, as I remember. But I forgot how fantastic the atmosphere and view is. Thanks to all the chefs and staff and particularly grazie a Andrea for a fnatastic choice of table and great personalised service.grazie

The place to go if you want to eat like the locals and eat with the locals! Open all year round and with pizza takeaway service, C'era una Volta is family run and the perfect place for a traditional meal.
We ate here for dinner on our last night in Positano and I can easily say if we had found it sooner we may of visited more than once. The views are lovely and the food and wine (particularly the litre of house wine for 10 Euros) was very good. Makes the walk up the hill worthwhile!

DA FERDINANDO POSITANO Beach bar with shuttle service from Positano's Spiaggia Grande, free Wi-Fi.
Very friendly family run restaurant located on Positano's small beach. We walked the short stepped coastal walk to the restaurant initially having not visited the area before. Following a nice, good value meal we rented one of the restaurant's nearby sun loungers on the seafront. This enabled us to use the restaurant's free boat taxi back into Positano....a definate bonus! So I guess if you call the restaurant upon arrival at Positano's port area they would probably collect you too... worth knowing

The restaurant will be seasonally closed for the months of November, December, January and February.
Must visit in Positano! Went for a late lunch. Amazing pastas, incredible seafood, fabulous steak, great carafe wines and desserts to die for. The staff is great and the owner comes to every table....such a treat! Slightly off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. If you enjoy walking it is a short 15-20 minute walk from the Hotel Villa Franca. You can either take the stairs (shorter) or take the road. Wish we were staying an extra day for I would love to go back again. Food all tastes & looks amazing at very reasonable prices. Highly, highly recommend!!

Historical mediterranean family restaurant since 1965, featuring passion, authentic food from local ingredients and warm hospitality
I've taken groups here multiple times and the entire staff has always been delightful to work with. The kitchen is an efficient, self-running machine - so fun to watch. Chef Giuseppe is kind (no shouting in this kitchen! ;) and sisters Filomena and Fortunata are fun, informative and patient throughout. We like to have a cooking lesson in the morning and then eat what we prepare for lunch. It's such a lovely way to experience the local culture. And as we're rolling gnocchi or stuffing anchovies, we get to see the daily seafood and vegetables come in, watch all the prep and feel like we're party of the whole operation. The food and experience are highly recommended.

The time of fresh figs is right now and 7 Farine makes it a speciality to turn a run of the mill pizza into a delicacy on pizzabread. This time, just like last year, they did not disappoint.I on ther other hand opted for a Black Angus fillet cut into strips accompanied by a portion of french fries. There was just room left for one of their delicious desserts washed down with a liiquer and coffee. Our friends were as impressed as we were and we'll be back soon. To be recommended.Ask for table 82. Parking on the main Panoramica Road.
