Went for dinner and was greeted eventually by hostess after we had stood a bit ... Place is very large but few diners were there. Waitress bought wine but no glasses- had to wait unt she finally reappeared and flag her down . Ong wait for food though not busy . Carbonara was described As pasta with fish and egg...asked what type of fish- she had no idea. It was terrible- yes an eggy disuse but with some kind if very very smoky and mostly fat pancetta. The spaghetti with clams was fine, with the usual very very tiny clams. All the menu items were described as with fish but not a specific type- don't go there for a meal- pizza probably would be OK... And the service was very bad.

Unfortunately we went to La Capannina on a Friday, hoping to talk, not dance. There is live music of indifferent quality but very loud. At the other end of the large, open air establishement, it was hard to hear normal conversation. The restaurant looks out to a saphire sea with the white cliffs of Conero behind, a splendid location with cool breezes (bring a jacket). The seafood antipasti were exceptionally good and well-presented. Pastas were good, tasty and filling. No substitutions or variations are possible on Fridays. As the restaurant emptied, the wait staff melted and response time lenghtened. We had given up on dessert; it was taken off the bill and then suddenly appeared as we were getting ready to leave. The bathroom had no toilet paper. The door first wouldn't close and then got stuck and was hard to unlock. Parking is tricky. I'd go again for the views and antipasti, but not on Friday.

when I enter in a restaurant with 200 seats, located right in the center of this little coastal town and I see that the restaurant is fully booked I do not expect to eat in a Michelin starred place. If they serve also pizza then, I am sure I will eat, hopefully, a good meal but nothing over the top. I had dinner in this place with my wife and two friends during the highest week of the highest time of the year...august 12th and considering all the facts I wrote above our dinner was very good. Quick service despite the huge amount of people inside and out the restaurant. Huge portions ( even too much ) and very professional team of waiters/waitresses. Good place for an informal dinner.

I hate beach front restaurants! Overpriced, frightful service, loud tourists from .... (well, you know who I mean). This place is a bit different, though admittedly we ate early enough to miss the Friday evening rush, and very early in the season. My gluten-free wife loves fish, and she told me her fritto misto di pesce was delicious. Again, with a dish like that, there is always a risk it will all be calamari rings. Not here!My turbot fillet was well filleted and very tender. Our puddings were good, too. Two bottles of beer (they have an impressive list of GF beers), a bottle of mid-priced local white wine, coffee, and a local digestif which turned out to be a variant on ouzo, all for â¬80. Remarkable value for a beach-front restaurant!

A predominantly take away pizza spot but with a small informal seating area. The pizza is one of the best in town, easy to create your own topping or some classics to choose from. Wood fired oven and a great dough base, friendly owners - definitely recommended!!
