Finos Restaurant offers the finest seafood, pasta dishes, pizza, with a great wine list. The master chef comes from the finest restaurants in The Middletown CT area, including the Red Fox Restaurant.
We ordered a large cheese pizza, the baby clam pizza, an order of wings and a house salad. I was surprised because they only had a choice of 3 different dressings for the salad. Also, the wings were fine...nothing amazing and nothing horrible. They were just ok. Same with the pizza...they both were fine. Our family ate everything and no one complained, but no one raved over it either.
Stopped here for dessert and glass of red winevti celebrate my birthday and dessert was delicious. We didn't know this place was under new ownership and now serves Italian meals. Owner very sweet, spoke with us for awhile. We will definitely go back for dinner.

Zerio's is a local favorite for Pizza, Soups, Salads, Paninis and Deli Sandwiches.
I ordered a panini [actually went half-and-half with companion to to taste two]. They are enormous. Thick crusty bread, think sliced meat, cheese and sauces - all add up. The pastrami Reuben and the southwest turkey were both great. Having said that, a warning, this place is typical of so many American restaurants - give you more than you want [and should eat] and charge you accordingly. Unfortunately, this is the business model we have created by our 'love' of either 1]eating too much or 2]feeling happy when we get a doggy bag. Regardless, one delicious panini is enough for two people.

Been to both Illiano's and this is by far the better one. First the seating is more comfortable and although busy, not as loud as the Washington St. location. Nice touch to be greeted with small pieces of pizza. Menu is extensive, portions are substantial, the basket of rolls yummy and the price is right. Service was attentive. Had the spinach square which was oozing warm mozarella; served with tomato sauce for dipping. The vodka penne was tasty, plentiful and served piping hot. We'll be back.

We're not usually that big on Italian restaurants, but this was a great discovery. Seemed very quiet; maybe it was just the midweek night. Very amiable waitress, and the giant pieces of lasagna were awesome. More than enough to share, although G added a side of sausage, which was also excellent. Homemade breads and extra sauce for dipping. I can't speak for the fish, steak, pizza... but judging by the meals we had I would bet everything here would be good. We'll definitely be back.

Conveniently located along Rt. 99 in Historic Downtown Cromwell at 307 Main Street. Cromwell Pizza & Pasta is locally owned by Fabio Lourenconi. Our establishment is a kid friendly environment to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Cromwell Pizza offers
We were visiting family in the area, and our favorite pizza place across the street was closed, so we thought we'd give Cromwell Pizza a try. It was extremely busy for a Tuesday evening, both eat-in and take-away customers. It actually seemed to be more than the staff could handle. They were really hustling, to the point of getting some orders confused, and it seemed that they were trying to juggle oven space for so many pizzas. They could have taken ours out a bit sooner; it was at the point of being burnt. It wasn't bad, but not great either.Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you're experience wasn't bad nor great. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at [email protected]. Again, thank you for the review, we will work with the staff to ensure orders are handled accurately and with out your review we wouldn't know what areas of dining we need to work on. Hopefully, you'll try us again in the near future.

This is the place. Past dinner time for our granddaughter but not to worry. Waitress quickly brought placemats and crayons to our table. Restaurant has a smaller seating area than expected as take-out counter/showcase takes up much space. Crowded with families and groups of kids so a little loud. Waitress was overwhelmed so service was not as attentive as it could be. Vodka penne dinner was quite good and very tasty, served hot. Plentiful portion. Salad was fresh with more than just lettuce; house dressing was also good. The stromboli was perfect if not looking for an entree or pizza. Filled with brocolli, ham, salami, onion, peppers, mushrooms - 1/2 was enough with the other 1/2 wrapped for later. Prices are very reasonable. Saw there was another Iliano's on Rte.17; more convenient for us but reviews seemed not as good.

Tommy's makes decent enough food, the pizza is good, kind of greasy but good enough. However, the prices are outrageous for what you get. While the pizza is good, it's not good enough to justify the high prices for what you get and considering that there are other just as good, if not better, pizza options pretty close by. We rarely eat there.

Krust is a great spot for upscale pizza and drinks with friends. There is a lively bar and separate dining room. The decor is unfinished plywood, but that's on purpose. Any pie is going to delicious. 8 slices about the size of a medium. I recommend one for every 2 people if you're hungry. The beer menu is extensive. The cocktail menu is centered on bourbon and whiskey which is fine. The drinks are good, including the martinis. But they are all served in small glasses so they are gone in three sips.Service was very good. Pizza comes out in minutes which is surprising for wood fired.Do not miss the nutella dessert pizza!!!! It is so much more than just nutella, although that would have been good too.

The pizza by the slice was thin and super flavored, the pepperoni was the real kind. Salads were mega sized and so was the pesto chicken panini. Service was great despite being super busy. We ate outside and main Street Middletown was pleasant. Will come back.
