People travel distances for this locally famous pizza place. Average atmosphere, easy to find, and good food. Decent variety on the menu.

An institution of Wilkes-Barre, Angelo's is a local treasure. It's the second best pizza place in NEPA (Antonions North End has no competition) Late hours by local standards allows for a late pizza pickup. No beer, but the quality of the pizza makes up for that. Sweet sauce, cozy atmosphere and classic location makes Angelo's a must visit pizza shop.
So many great pizza shops in Wyoming Valley this one rates right up there in my book. Great thin crust pie and good beer selection. Also available on the west side location. Reasonable prices too.
Philly's Phinest is the bomb! I love this place and everything on their menu is great. They are my go to for cheesesteaks, but they also have great seafood section, that is reminiscent to the Philadelphia area. Stuffed shrimp, fish and chips, fried shrimp, clam dinner, and crab cakes. Whoa! So so good!

WHERE: Dave Colarussoâs Pizza & Pasta â 105 W End Road, Wilkes-Barre, PA Located on the Wilkes-Barre side of the Carey Avenue bridge in the little strip mall next to Circle Bar-B-Que. PHONE: 570.822.0181WHEN: Tuesday, 2016.1206 @ approximately 8:15pmCOST: 2 Guests / Eat In - Total Cost $34.61 (Excluding Tip)COMMENT: We are ALWAYS Treated Well Here â This is âOur Go To Placeâ for âChicken Parmigianaâ -- Hands Down, âItâs THE BEST!âWe ran into âDave Colarussoâsâ little restaurant pretty much by accident a few years ago and have been going there ever since. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and is always made fresh to order! If you want a great Italian dish for an absolutely reasonable price ($12.95), this is the place to go! The Chicken Parmigiana is my favorite! The chicken is battered and fried, then topped with a great homemade sauce and cheese then baked to perfection! It is always fresh and when you bite into it, itâs moist, juicy, and tender! Daveâs Chicken Parm beats all others in the area by leaps and bounds! The portion is very generous and the price is very fair. With the Chicken Parm, youâll also get a side of pasta. In addition, I order a dinner salad ($2.25) â the salad is also always very fresh and the lettuce is crispy! âEverything is Absolutely Delicious!â And letâs not forget the basket of fresh bread with plenty of butter that comes with the meal too! My husband and I have ordered other items as well, and all were very good! I still favor the Chicken Parm though! Besides having the most wonderful Italian Food, the owner, Dave just has to be a âGreat Guy!â â Everyone at Calorussoâs is âHappy!â We havenât been fortunate enough to meet Dave just yet, but we did meet his son âKyleâ this evening. We were running a little late so my husband called our order in to have it ready upon our arrival. Kyle took our order and no sooner did we walk in the door, Kyle was there with our pasta and a great big welcoming smile! Everyone who works at Daveâs seems to be quite happy! We are âAlways Greeted with a Smile!â There is the most lovely little lady who works there too; she literally runs around ensuring all patrons are taken care of like theyâre family! Finally, we found out her name is âNaomiâ. Naomi is the sweetest, kindest lady one could ever hope to meet. Naomi goes out of her way to make sure all is perfect with your meal and ensures youâre all happy too! Naomi âDoes it All!â ⦠She greets the folks who arrive, seats them, waits on them and delivers their food, takes phone orders at the counter, runs the cash register, helps the kitchen staff when needed, and cleans up! What an asset Naomi is to Dave Calorussoâs! Dave must be so proud to have Naomi as the front person for his restaurant; Naomi truly makes you want to visit Calorussoâs again, and again, and again! I can honestly say âI have never met anyone like Naomi!â What a wonderful human being! Dave, âThank Youâ for the great food! And âThank Youâ for giving us the opportunity to meet Naomi.

Not been there in quite awhile. Nice ambiance, good service. Bruchetta was ok, a little bland though. Tomatoes and provolone on bread but no spices. They did bring warm bread with a dipping sauce that was good. Wife's meal was colorful and good but lacked the garlic advertised in the item description. Had the creamy tomato soup instead of the salad which was ok. My meal came with clams and shrimp around linguini. Problem was clams were still in shell and shrimp had tails intact. Messy to prepare before eating. That would have been acceptable except that the spicy sauce wasn't spicy and tasted just like the creamy tomato soup I just finished. All in all an ok experience, nothing to brag about. Sorry I couldn't be a little more positive. Don't like to complain.
We ordered this for lunch one day and I must say it was cheap. They don't have a ton of selections and it's nothing fancy but $5 for a large round pie. It served its purpose. If your looking for a quick pizza that does the trick. This is your place!
What to do and see in Plymouth, United States: The Best Places and Tips
Plymouth Pa is certainly lacking in good restaurants, however, I was delightfully surprised this past week end when a reunion brought me to Happy Pizza. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the sauce fresh and tasty. But the biggest treat was the pagash. It had a perfect crust and was loaded with a cheesy potato mixture and enhanced with bits of onion. Most other places don't add onion. Definitely was one the best pagash I've ever tasted. While the decor is typical "Valley Hole in the Wall" is was just right for our gathering of Plymouth and Nanticoke folk. The wait staff was a bit inexperienced, but nevertheless, they were polite and offered good service to a large group. Each beer was accompanied by a frosted glass and individual tabs were provided to each person for their drinks. Won't wait for another reunion to take me back. I'll visit whenever in the Valley.

Pizza L'oven is absolutely my favorite pizza anywhere and I LOVE pizza. It is a deep dish thicker crust pizza with such a wonderful sauce and cheese toppings . Add onions and it is amazing! The wings are just as good as the pizza. Worth the drive to get enough to take home and freeze but somehow it never lasts that long. Nothing like pizza for breakfast!

Gerry's is great pizza and has a drive through window to pick up your orders! Not the best pizza in Wilkes-Barre, but still great. I can still remember eating Gerry's for school lunch on Fridays at good old Bishop Hoban. Anytime I eat their pizza, it brings back the memories.
