We have been here many times as it is conveniently located in the upper area of the Watchung mall. You can have a self- serve order and just pick a table, or sit down and order from the menu. The have midweek pasta and chicken specials which we have tried too. Large portions and nice service for a reasonable price. During the week they have a special: 2 plain slices and a fountain sofa for $5. Hard to beat!
I work in the neighborhood and have been coming to Marino's for years. It is a pizzeria but it also has a quiet, white table clothed section where you can sit and enjoy a dinner and byob, which I love. I think I've had just about everything on the menu. Sometimes our office gets lunch here and other times dinner. Some favorites, besides their different varieties of pizza, are the red pasta fasoli, filet of sole with a lemon butter sauce, eggplant parm, and the salads. It's located in the Watchung Triangle near the Watchung Post Office. You can take out or eat in and they have late hours, so it's very convenient. If you haven't been there, give them a try.

What a great find so close to home. Authentic Neopolitan style pizza made with quality fresh homemade ingredients in a wood fired oven. I have tried the margherita and artichoke pizza so far and both were excellent, even the crust was delicious. Though this place is mostly about pizza, there are some pasta specials. The homemade gnocchi and tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce is some of the best I've tasted outside of Italy. My family is from the Friuli region of Italy where gnocchi is a staple, and their gnocchi is as authentic as they come. The lasagna is also excellent, not your typical lasagna covered in cheese and a heavy red sauce. My wife and eat out on a regular basis at a few favorites in the area, this place has definitely been added to the rotation.
Grt pizza and customer service..One thing is I saw an employee wipe the tables then the floors.. Not good! I don't think the cloth went back to the Table..Overall, they are grt and the pizza is yum!
The food is good to above average, depending on the time of day. It's usually quite warm inside. they dont like to turn on the air conditioning. The take out is quick and usually verry good. Overall B-B+
Wow how To start one of best pizza I ever tried. The pizza sauce had flavor the cheese has great.Truly a great experience
Tucked into this small mall like a clam between rocks, this "ristorante" ranks with the likes of any on Carmine St! Do not let the place or the setting fool you...one taste of the home cooked food by a man who loves his food will have you coming back for more...even though you have enough for a doggie bag as it is!

After we took our daughter to Knit a Bit in Fanwood, we wanted a light bite. Looked on yelp and chose Italian Village. Great food, friendly staff and quick service. We had some of the great selection of different types of slices and a very tasty calzone.

Went on a Thursday, and restaurant was practically empty. Service was spot on. Food was good, especially the pasta fagioli ($8.95) and fried calamari. Desserts were a bit expensive but also also good. Parking is limited and a challenge; location is a BYOB, and I believe ownership changed a year ago, but receipts have remained consistent. Overall pretty good food at a reasonable price.
