I went yesterday night with a group of 6 friends to have dinner to L'Osteria. I am regretting so much we went. It was the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant in my life. I highly recommend to everyone to not even think about this place as a restaurant. It is embarrassing the way they treat their clients and their prepotent and disrespectful behavior. I am gonna explain to you the situation we have been through and I am sure you will share my opinion as well... We arrived there at 22:05, we were waiting on the table and no one was coming to take the order. We were calling the waiter and after 25 minutes one waiter came. We asked for 3 pizzas and 1 pasta dish. First of all you should know that at this place from 23h on they don't cook pasta anymore. But yes, it was still 22:30. But what happened? At 23:05, while we were starving and waiting for our food, the waiter came to organize the cutlery and he realized he forgot one dish. He made a mistake and he forgot to order the pasta. Well, we are humans, we all make mistakes. But when you make a mistake you have to solve it, you have to offer a solution. He went to the kitchen to ask for the pasta, and he said it was too late but as I told him " yes now it's 23:05 and you are supposed to don't do pasta anymore but when we ordered it, it was 35 minutes ago and it was completely possible".My friend who asked for the pasta told him "okey fine, I will ask for a pizza but as I could not organize with my friends before to share a pizza and YOU made a mistake I would ask you if it's possible to have just half pizza and pay just for half of it due to the fact, I would never eat a whole one". I think that was fair enough. But no, in l'Osteria, they tell you " yes I made a mistake I know, but I cannot do anything, I don't have any solution, I don't care". Like this, as rude as it sounds. At the end we had to order and pay an extra pizza and we didn't even eat the whole one. Not even a reduction, not even a honest apology. Disgusting. On top of this we asked for a "complaints book" to write down the situation but apparently in Germany it doesn't exist. So then we asked to three different waiters to talk with the boss and they were lying about it. They were saying "yes I just talked to him but he doesn't want to come ", "oh no he left half an hour ago", " it's the guy in the blue shirt " , "he is shy...". No one cared about the situation and no one even try to solve it at the end. All in all we felt ignored and mistreated. I am definitely not gonna come back, neither my friends will, and I hope you all read my review and you don't make the same mistake as we made of going to this "restaurant".Ciao flynoise,Thank you for taking the time to give such a detailed account of your visit to our restaurant. We now know exactly how we need to improve our service.I would like to apologise sincerely on behalf of our whole team for our failure to meet yourexpectations as regards the service. We'll discuss your experience indetail at our next team meeting, so that we can make sure that nothing like this happensagain. We have taken steps to remedy the situation as regards the service andlook forward to your next visit, so that we can demonstrate how outstanding ourservice is.Cordiali saluti,The L'Osteria Team

I used to be a daily regular here when I lived in Germany, and still eat here every time I stop by. This place really delivers. Pizza made from scratch, big, fresh salads... all made right before your eyes by the owner himself, who is an absolute master of Italian food. Highly recommended for quick lunches during the week.

We ordered both a steak, one was salt less and the other very salty, probably the cook salted the same steak twice and forgot the other one. Service is friendly and quick. Payment can only be done by GERMAN bank card or cash. There is an internal connection door to the hotel, but that has a different owner.

Our main plan was to find a really good pizza in Pforzheim and I believe we found the place. The selection was great and the taste was awesome. The staff (owner?) was very friendly and spoke English even though he claimed not to be able to. I will be back on my next business trip to Pforzheim.

The outside seating area of this Italian eatery and bar is quite nice and the atmosphere is great. But the diavola pizza I had was just quite average - itâs not bad, but itâs also nothing to really be amazed about.

Perhaps the best "pizza" I have experienced in Germany! This pinsa is even highly approved by my Italian friends. The chef himself is Italian and very friendly. Some evenings they even offer a dough baked with a culinary charcoal. Ask for the black dough! I will be a repeat visitor as long as I am in Pforzheim! Bravo!Grazie Daniele âºï¸
