We went to the restaurant Sandrino, but found it shut for lunch midweek. By chance we found Da Carla along the road. Outside was full with Italians, always a good sign. The food was very good, antipasta, tuna, mozzarella salad then gnocchi and local macaroni pasta followed by lamb chops, the house wine was good and cheap. A very pleasant lunch in a very nice area.

We arrived here around 8.30pm on a Sunday evening, the tables inside and outside on the terrace were all full but the waitress managed to find a spot for the 3 of us in the corner. We were a bit concerned when we still hadn't had a menu after 15 minutes but the one waitress was rushed off her feet! As soon as we had the menu we felt much better we hand't been forgotten and orders and food followed quickly. We had pizzas and salad which were excellent! Definitely recommend and will visit again!

We stopped here for a long, pleasant Sunday lunch during a visit to the parco di pinocchio (which is opposite the restaurant). The service was good - the staff seemed rushed but always helpful. The food was good: nothing amazing, just good Italian food at it's best. Unpretentious, honest food at a reasonable price. The set menu (20 Euros, antipasti, primi, secondi, water, wine) is really good value. The children's menu is, too (10 Euros, primi, secondi & drink). The Tuscan antipasti was a delicious start to the meal. Then we had ravioli (good, really nice tomato sauce), cotoletta alla milanese & chips (everything I hoped it would be). Good house wine by the carafe, what more can you ask for?Our boys had pasta in bianco (which they love), but the other option of tomato pasta should be similarly young-crowd pleasing. They had plenty of high chairs when we visited, even with a couple of large Italian families taking their share of them.Overall: good food, good value.

We finally tried this restaurant/pizzeria this summer after many tears of driving past. It does not look anything special from the outside but, my wife, who is gluten intollerant, finally got fed up of watching me eat wonderful pizzas at our regular haunts and insisted we try there. Everything on the menu (and there is a vast range of pasta dishes and pizzas is available gluten-free for a 2 euro supplement. My 'normal' pizza and pasta were good and, when I tasted my wife's pizza, I was surprised to find that the gluten free version tasted like the real deal. We tried to go back on our last night before returning to England, but it was fully booked; presumably as in most groups there is always someone who is intollerant, it is a popular choice for a relatively inexpensive group outing. . We will be going back again on our next visit to the area.

I enjoyed a very nice dinner with my family last week, the food was fresh and excellent, the choise was among lost of traditional dishes and fish dishes. We booked in advance, we had a very fine table reserved, the waiters full of thoughts and very helpfull. Last but not least the price for the quality of the dinne simply excellent. I highly recommand this restaurant.

We were hungry late at night, so we went to the village to find a pizza place. We walked in to Pizzeria Pucci and were greeted by a friendly waitress. She was very accommodating, ordering us a pizza and boxing it up. I was sorry we didn't bring the whole family down so we could eat in the restaurant. The décor was inciting and the people were so nice and welcoming. And we liked the pizza.

From the moment we were welcomed in (at 9:30 p.m.) we felt right at home. Although the ambiance may be a little lacking, it fits perfectly with the home-style atmosphere. AND, while it may lack in linen cloths and napkins, the food and service makes up 10 times!Massimo and his staff made this our favorite restaurant in the region! I am a chef and this was the best lamb dish I have ever eaten...ANYWHERE! The mushroom ravioli, divine! The Panna Cotta...sublime! The food, service and wine were absolutely excellent! How I wish we could have eaten here every night. Thank you Guy Fieri and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This recommendation was spot on! Grazie Massimo and familia! Ritornero!!!! I will return and send my friends!
