We ended up here by a succession of happy accidents. First off, the restaurant in our hotel (chosen because they are recognised as gluten safe by the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association)) doesn't open at the weekend. Secondly, we turned up early enough to get a table without a reservation. Our meal was one of the best we have had in 10 years of living in Italy. My wife had a tartare of tuna, seasoned with guacamole. I had 2 gluten-rich crostini covered in melted local cheese and black truffle. Our main course was veal fillet, served with another cheese and black truffle sauce, with fondant potatoes. Pudding was great, too (the ice cream is mainly GF).With water, coffee, and a good bottle of Umbrian Sangiovese, a tad under â¬120.A good way to end my 70th birthday!

Visited Mare Mosso after reading Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Had a table on the terrace overlooking the sea. Very attentive staff and extensive menu. Food was delicious but portions a bit large for our tastes. House wine more than acceptable and very reasonably priced. Altogether a very enjoyable meal. Well worth a visit.

This is the best take-away pizzeria in town and the best I've ever tried anywhere.I've eaten Toni's crunchy, tasty, squared hot pizza's since I was a child (for 30 years) and they are still the same unique wonders. It's cheap and quick and if you are in these surroundings (it's in the suburbs of town) come in and enjoy it!

Sliced meats, mixed pork grill and steak was what we ate. It was OK apart from some of the pork which seemed slightly undercooked but there was nothing about the place that would encourage me to return. If you like meat you'll do OK here though and portion sizes were good. Service was OK.

I always return to this restaurant which has kept over the years under the same management its high quality. Its pizzas are excellent (although I only tried a few out of 100 that they advertise), but the pastas are always excellent and so is the meat, especially veal. It is advisable to book for lunch and dinner: it is close to Teatro Rossini so it is very popular with Rossini Festival audience.

Enjoyed dinner here with fast friendly service, good food and inexpensive compared to several restaurants near the sea. My husband started with a huge chicken salad that we thought was just a "starter"...massive and a full dinner. I had the ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese in a prosciutto cudo, spinach and walnut sauce. Excellent and for me a large portion. Had a green salad (that's all it is green salad...nothing else) with it, which left no room for anything else. Husband ordered a small pizza with lovely thin crust and fresh basil ...excellent!! Three glasses of wine and the bill was just 38 euros! Delicious, nice atmosphere, good service and a very good menu to choose from. Recommended and open on Mondays.
