Jimbo's is one of the places almost everyone in Pekin knows about. There really is only a small table inside to wait at but it's not a dine-in place really. It is known for delivering hot food quickly as well as for carry-out. The italian steak sandwich is also one of the things they are known for and it rarely disappoints. I don't eat potato salad or antipasta but my family does and they sing praises about it. I love the pizza from there and they have started daytime delivery now so many of us from work will order and have it delivered and it comes hot and tasty
We haven't ordered from here in quite a while because the pizza quality was not very good and it has not improved one bit I think it actually got worse. The food was delivered when promised that is the only positive. I will start with the pizza, it was not hot when it arrived, it barely had any cheese on the pizza and the three toppings was just as sparse at best. When I opened the box I thought they just gave us the crust. The bread sticks were tough like they were cooked yesterday and the wings were just okay. The quality overall is horrible. In summary, we will not order from here again I gave them a second chance and they failed once again. Go to monicals and get a good pizza even Little Caesars $5 pizza was better than what we had at Pizza Hut.
sometimes we dont want to go out and eat when we get to town so we stop in get a pizza to go. the kids love it, prices are amazing not alot of change in manu from visit to visut but the hot and ready are always available .they are hot ready and goood!
When we saw Marcos coming to town, we thought, 'oh, great--just what we need--another pizza place.' But, to our surprise we really liked the pizza. The sausage is huge and tasty--you can taste the anise. The idea is pretty ingenious as well. Get a dvd movie and a pizza delivered to you! Or order a pizza at the store while searching for your video.

After hours of working in the yard, several supreme pizza brought neighbors together for a bit of a block party. The pizzas were great and not one piece was left over. Thanks.

Took my 94 year old mom in for my fav, taco pizza. I love the buffet as it lets me try other things. However once the taco pizza came out all steaming and full of taco stuff, it was game over - 3 pieces later-all done!!!Mom got a cheese and meat slice with veggies from the salad bar. Mara (sp?) was wonderful-customer aware and efficient. $1 Buds - altho hubby wasn't with-this is a MUST stop when we visit the Peoria area!!Oh and my fav is the thick crust. PS: I am not nor will I ever submit a review for compensation. I can't rate any other pizza.
I stopped in at this new location in Pekin Illinois and was very impressed. The service was above reproach, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered the cheese ravioli. It came with lovely garlic toast and there was enough for me to take home for another meal. If you have not visited this restaurant you are missing out.
Two Paisanos is a new restaurant in Pekin. The building has not been occupied for several years, in the blighted part of town. It is small with a few tables and a bar. Bar stools are small and not comfortable. They serve two beers on draft. Restaurant appeared to be clean, although I was nervous leaving my car in the parking lot in this blighted area. Parking lot appeared to be striped or marked for motorcycles as a full size car would not fit in the parking spots. Best guess was this used to be a biker bar. Waitress was friendly. Took about 24 minutes to get my lunch. Food was average, but was $ 15 for a basic lunch, so expensive. They use some computer device to pay for your meal and it has my pet peeve of tipping on it. Selections appear to be no tip, 15% 20% 25% I selected 15% but once I received the receipt, the tip is figured on food and drink total in addition to the tax amount which actually turns the tip into 17%. Doubt I return

We moved away from this area two years ago, but when we return, a Monical's visit is a must. In fact, we bought some salad dressing to take back to Michigan. The service this time was excellent and food still good and reasonable priced. You can't miss with a visit to any of the Monical restaurants in the Peoria-Pekin area. Wish they would branch out to Michigan.
