We read a great article in the Sunday paper that sung the praises of PizzaRoma and their Sunday Omelet Buffet so we decided to try it after church. Bad idea. We were seated and nobody acknowledge us after that. There were no less that 6 waitresses walk past us, must looked like they would rather be somewhere else. There were 2 tables seated after us who had waitresses take care of them even before the groups got seated. One finally stopped and asked in anyone got our drink order. We told her no and told her it was our first time there for the buffet. Her service skills bordered on zero. We asked how the buffet worked since it was not very clear and we received no menus. She told us to go up and the chef would make our omelet. No further explanation of suggestions. We placed a drink order but left without ordering because the level of service was so bad, I was afraid to try the food. I would have asked for a manager but it was apparent that nobody was in charge. I can't comment on the quality of the food because I did not wait around after the horrible service. Went to Cracker Barrel instead. They were super busy and we actually got service.

My husband and I lived around the area where the first Azzip opened in 2014 in Evansville. Once we tried it for the first time we were hooked! You see, Azzip is not just another pizza place - theyâve revolutionized the entire pizza experience.They cook personal sized pizzas in about 3 minutes, fresh, hot, and fast. They use many in-house ingredients such as signature sauces to create very imaginative pizzas, including their famous west-sider(evil pig) pizza & their pizzas of the month. Some pizzas of the month include a Mac-n-cheese pizza, spicy sweet jalapeño popper pizza, & a crab Rangoon pizza - each one being stunningly delicious. They have the best ranch dip around and the cookies are excellent. My favorite part about Azzip though, is that the service is always, always stellar. Iâve eaten at both Evansville locations, Newburgh, & Owensboro. Over the years, theyâve made a rare mistake here and there but theyâre always great about it. Sometimes there hasnât been a mistake and theyâre just being polite - Iâve gotten free cookies, extra ranch cups, help seating my children, & even a gift card for a mix-up before. Azzip cares about its customers, community, and your right to individuality in creating your own pizzas. So, as you can tell, Azzip has become our go to restaurant & has been our familyâs favorite for 5 years and counting. If you havenât been, youâre missing out!

Our second trip to Donatoâs. They cut their pizzas into squares vs. traditional slices. Weâve had this at pizza places back east. Flavor was good on our selections. Service was a little slack though. Not our favorite by any means, but convenient for this side of town.

We were in Owensboro in the evening so did not get to experience the buffet that many reviewers liked so much. We ate in the restaurant and had excellent service, although the empty buffet and general atmosphere weren't very attractive. There was only one other table occupied, but it appeared that restaurant was very busy with to-go and delivery orders. We ordered a pepperoni pizza on their original crust and it was good, not great. The pepperoni and cheese were very tasty but I was disappointed that the sauce wasn't as flavorful. It was hard to eat, too, because the plastic forks were so thin and flimsy it was hard to stab the bites cut with the plastic knife. Perhaps picking up a pizza to go or visiting during the buffet times is a better way to experience Pizza by The Guy.Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, CurlieQ13prm. Our buffet is a big hit with customers so hopefully you are able to stop by and give it a try one day!

We always go to the West Side restaurant and the service is always great. Their pizza's are loaded with toppings are wonderful. The stuffed bread sticks are just the best and are a meal themselves. Stick around for the free warm cookies.

The actual pizza and choice of toppings is good. Pizza is thin crust and cooked in a brick oven. What I donât understand is the pizza salad. They literally make a salad and dump It on a cheese pizza which is very weird and not that appetizing. Why not cook the crust in the oven in the shape of a bowl and put the salad in crust bowl. That would make more sense and be much more appetizing and like similar pizza places (Your Pie and Blaze) where you make your own pizza and get it âyour wayâ.

Another 'local favorite' We had some yummy food, and was not able to eat it all. The calzones, are huge, but so deliscious. The breading so good, the insides just as I asked. The service was great, she was personable, and polite, and we enjoyed visiting with her. She knew we were not locals and she helped us with figuring out what we wanted to eat. Will go back next time in KY

I have visited this restaurant several times, and it is always tasty. I like the way you can order pizza by the slice, which is nice for traveling solo. I had the margherita pizza, which was delicious and vegetarian!
