This was my 3rd time in Hakuba and there is one thing you can count on when you're here and that's lucky Peteâs for a cold beer and great food. The burgers are the best! Wonderful staff, lovely greeting and knowledgeable passionate owner who explained their particular type of Italian food.My husband and I really enjoyed a 3 course meal here. The portions are much smaller than other restaurants in the area, but typically Italian and it meant I could eat dessert which was wonderful. I'd recommend booking as it is a small restaurant and get there early as it doesn't seat people past 7:30pm.Lovely cosy, warm, relaxed atmosphere. Delicious wine. I could have sat for hours!

We stayed at Mominoki so this was very convenient for us. The staff are polite and helpful, and it was nice to watch the Winter Olympics with fellow enthusiasts, but the food lets this place down. My 6ft4 partner had to order a lot of separate components to satisfy his hunger, when ordinarily those components would be part of the one meal. Given we live near a good many pubs back home with proper pub food, we skipped this appropriation of one most nights, opting for Japanese meals elsewhere (try the Pension Hakuba 70, a quick walk down the road past Rhythm. It is awesome, great food and great prices!)
