Things to do in Ossining
This relatively new pizza place provides the usual pizza by the slice or pie, and the typical pasta dishes. The staff are friendly and they have convenient tables. The food is okay, nothing wrong at all, but also not very imaginative, it is just like any other pizza joint. I've tried it a few times, but prefer to go to one of many nearby Italian joints that have more varied menus and a little more style to their food. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going here, but I wish they had come up with something more distinctive!

I stopped in here recently to have pizza with some family members, and we all really enjoyed it. The sicilian was especially good. Some of the other slices, were a little oily, but they tasted good. Next time I come up to Briarcliff, I will definitely stop back in for pizza.

We've dined at Eatalia a number of times and it has always been consistently excellent. The menu is varied and the all the dishes we've had have been terrific. Additionally, the dining area is generally quiet enough so that you don't feel like you're competing with everyone else in the place to be heard across your own table. Not sure what happened to those who wrote that the chef/wait staff have been rude. We've found them to be friendly and accommodating on each of our visits. But I will say that this really isn't a great place to bring small kids. Just not that kind of place. We like the place and we will be back. One caution: parking is across the street --- a VERY busy street. Be careful crossing over!

This restaurant probably does a bigger takeout business than dine in. It is not unusual to be told that a takeout order might be ready ion 40 minutes. (At least they are realistic.) The pizzas are delicious as are the salads. Everything is on the pricey side for what it is, but usually we do not begrudge the slightly higher prices since the quality is better than average

Lucy's Pizza in Ossining is not much different from many pizzerias. The slices are basic and the taste is very similar to other pizza joints. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best, I give them a 6. The prices for pizza are reasonable, however, other dishes are costly. For example, if you order ziti (small foil pan) the cost is 14.00. Anything with meats will certainly run more. Personally, those prices are way to high for me. The other downside to this place for me is the fact that it is located directly across from the Ossining High School so at any given time, there are multitudes of kids with loud conversations in, out and around the pizza shop.

We have been taking our children and grandchildren to Ossining Pizzeria and Restaurant for years. The front room is mainly for picking up pizzas pre-ordered by phone and has a few small tables for those who cannot wait to sample a slice of the excellent pizza. There are two other larger and very comfortable rooms that constitute the restaurant. Besides the pizza, there is a full menu of wonderful Italian selections, main courses, salads, and appetizers. It is a good idea to make a reservations unless you plan to dine early, because local people are well aware of the gem in their midst.

I had heard many great things about Basta. I finally got around to ordering from here. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The pasta was almost inedible from how salty it was. The Margherita pizza was mediocre at best. Very disappointed by the chicken parm hero. The best part of the meal was the chips that came on the side. First and last time visiting this place.

Love Capri Pizza, they have the best pizza I have come across. Great selection on the menu and everything tastes great. Gets very busy and they could use more waiters, The staff seems overworked but very friendly and accommodating . My only complaint is the tiny filthy bathroom, other than that, a great place for pizza and Italian food
