They were friendly when we arrived but it all went downhill after that. The Pizza arrived very very quickly, far too quickly for my liking. They were obviously looking for a quick turn around in diners as they were always hovering about us waiting. Every time someone finished their dish it was taken away. Every time someone finished their drink it was taken away. They did not ask us if we wanted anything else. The pizza was poor. The ingredients were the cheapest they could get, one of the worst pizzas I have had in Italy. We used the toilets which were not particularly clean and lacked paper towels and toilet paper. Although it was cheap and very busy I would not recommend this restaurant .

We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.

Capitati qui per caso: eravamo diretti alla degustazione di vini che invece era solo serale. Quasi le 14 e, in fretta e furia, cerco su TripAdvisor un locale che sembri di buon livello e sia ancora aperto. La scelta cade sulla Locanda. Già al telefono, nonostante lâora, sono gentilissimi, e così ci arriviamo. Cominciamo con un antipasto di salumi e formaggi da dividere. Poi una carbonara e un hamburger di baccalà . Infine due tiramisù, uno classico con pavesini e lâ altro con le lingue di gatto. Il cameriere arriva con la teiera colma di caffè e li annaffia. Che dire...tutto buonissimo, ben presentato e servito con garbo, in una splendida cornice. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità di quanto consumato con 4 calici di vino. Consiglio vivamente.

Fantastic genuine Italian food made by a very friendly family in a small characteristic restaurant. Great local wines. Pizza's only on Saturday and Sunday. Inside and outside dining.

Do not be put off by the front entrance as you enter a pizza takeaway on the street but continue through to the back and a lovely surprise awaits you in the garden area. The food was excellent although the pizza was lacking in ham but plenty of cheese and we ate here twice and enjoyed both visits, plenty of time to enjoy the warm evenings and soak up the atmosphere, Would recommend and if you have small children the play area will be a real bonus for you,.

Good home cookingThis restaurant was just what we were looking for. We had our 2 grandchildren and our son and daughter in law with us.They made us very welcome catered for our allergies and at a very reasonable price.The food was excellent and scenery just what you expect in Tuscany.

King of pizza-making, master of art!The best pizza ever eaten by me. It's hard to find words to describe what was the feeling when we tasted our first pizza here. Even the picture could not bring back the taste of it.Next time we tried Pasta Carbonara, that was also our best so far.The owner is absolutely kind, friendly and helpful too.We are staying in Tuscany for 2 weeks, certainly we will go back.

We stumbled across this delightful restaurant by accident today and popped in lured by the reasonable prices advertised outside, with 4 hungry children we were not expecting much. How wrong we were, the food was delicious, all homemade, staff super friendly. We are already making plans to return! Grazie!

This restaurant was recommended by our hosts when we were visiting the area, so we visited for an early evening meal (by Italian standards at least). The staff were just finishing up a wedding reception and told us the restaurant couldn't serve us for another 45 minutes to an hour, but we could have drinks in the bar/farm shop. We went ahead and did that and watched a beautiful sunset from their outdoor area. The view was magnificent! Sitting down to dinner later, we basically ordered antipasti to share (both the meat and vegetarian ones based on recommendation), pastas and main courses. We were impressed by the huge antipasti plates and wide variety of items. The explanations of all the items were offered in English and gave us tastes of Tuscany we would have never ordered on our own. The pasta came and was all prepared fresh, with HUGE portions. (This was definitely the largest portions we'd had while visiting Tuscany). Each pasta was definitely unique and had robust flavors, making you want to eat more. Our meat selections were also delicious and large portions. After all of that food, there sadly wasn't any room for desert.
