Coney Island Wood Fired Pizza, Located in Riverdale, NJ Specializing in Wood Fired Pizza and Specialties. Also, Available for Catering our Mobile Brick Oven is the perfect addition to any event!
The selection of individual pizzas is extensive. The prices medium, but the quality high. All are made to order from fresh dough - and the assortment of toppings extensive. There are also a few pastas, and some salads - but the reason to come here is the pizza. They do catering, and also operate a food truck that goes out to community events etc.

Very popular, not only take out but also table service -- basically self service, but always friendly.Wide range of pizzas -- and special orders always welcome. Good cleanliness -- a Franklin Lakes institution.

We stopped while driving through town and from the outside well, we were not so sure. Not fancy but delicious... Really great. Portions are huge, fusilli with pink sauce was fabulous! Pizza was as good as it gets!

Stopped in while passing through town, and was pleasantly surprised. Not much to look at from the street but looks can be deceiving. Fast, friendly service in a very casual atmosphere. Their Greek salad was excellent, and a cheesesteak sub with peppers and mushrooms was equally good. Prices are very reasonable. Thank you for sharing your review online! We are glad you had a positive experience here, with fast, friendly service, and we appreciate your feedback on our greek salad & cheesesteak. Visit us again the next time you are passing through town! Thank you.
My friend and I tried to come here twice on a Thursday night. Luckily the second time we tried we got in here. I had the chicken milanese cutlet with mozzarella in a sandwich and it was a delight. It was big enough that I had the leftover for lunch the next day.

This was one of the few places open on Sun night while traveling along I-78. We were unable to load the menu from their website on our iPhones from the highway to check it out beforehand but we had already exited and it was getting late - after several minutes we realized their menu page is blank. 1 of us ordered a panini which was brought to our table on a ceramic dish. 3 of us ordered pizza - each slice brought on paper plates and personal pie was brought out on the aluminum pan it was cooked on. The utensils were cheap quality so I struggled cutting the pie on the pan. The eggplant topping was sparse and paper thin. I thought the pizza tasted the same as 100s of other pizzerias, so there was nothing that impressed us. Pizza was ok. The staff seemed to be typical for NJ.

I found out about the pizza Hut wings and now I'm obsessed. I can't decide which is my favorite topping. I'm not a fan of fast food pizzas so I can only say, go for the wings.
Went back to my hometown after many years absence. Went into Juniors and ordered an eggplant parm sandwich, my go-to for judging a restaurant of this category. Super friendly waitress brought me a nicely toasted sub roll with some of the worst, no make that THE worst, eggplant parm I have ever had. The eggplant seemed to be the frozen cutlet stuff with no flavor whatsoever. The sauce would have helped, it was tasty, but there was so little of it on the sandwich that it wasn't any help. I had to coat the thing with salt just to taste something. My next trip back, it'll be to a different restaurant. Place was neat and clean, though.

I was doing some spontaneous shopping in this strip mall today when we noticed Franks and decided to drop in quickly to grab a slice of pizza. The selection of cooked pizzas behind the counter was enormous; maybe 15 different kinds, including a bruschetta one, the usual sausage and peppers, a mushroom and broccoli rabe, and one with pasta on it. plus calzones and arancini. My father and I chose a slice each, and waited a few minutes for them to be reheated in the huge pizza oven. In that time there was a steady flow of take-out customers but the girl serving handled all efficiently. When we received our food we took a table in the very large dining area and realised too late that there was waitress service in that side but no one complained. It was clean and spacious, if a bit old fashioned. The menu looked large and inviting. The pizzas we had, white pizza with mozzarella and ricotta, and another the same but with garlic spinach on it, were excellent. Really crunchy, tasty crust, not oily. I will go back to eat a meal there with the family soon.
