We went for an early supper and game of bowling.The food was great and the service was even better. One caveat...when the bill arrives the suggested tip is based on the total outing not just food. Bowling is $52 for a family of 4...I'm certainly not tipping the waitstaff for that expense!! I dropped by this place for lunch which went very well. The wait time for a cheesesteak and a slice of pizza was less than 5 minutes. The restaurant itself was also very clean and also had a claw machine for people waiting for their orders. Overall, I would definitely visit this location again for lunch.

We tried the pizza for the first time Tuesday night. It was GREAT and they also have a special large cheese pizza from 5 to 8 on Tuesday nights for $6 and that includes the tax It is a fantastic deal. It is take out only there is no seating there.

I have been eating here for over 20 years. It's the best sub shop anywhere, period!! The meatball sub is perfection. The steak and cheese is delicious. I'm making myself hungry just typing this. Their pizza is greek style and fabulous. Prices reasonable and service is fast.

Stopped here for lunch on a monday and got 5 subs (Italian, Roast beef, Turkey and BLT). they were all delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely get it toasted. I did not get any pizza.

The Hornets Nest is a local landmark in town and is now celebrating over 40 great years. We first became famous for our cheese steak subs, and we still make them the same "original" way. We use only the highest quality beef loins and hand cut them fresh.

My other half works 3-11pm six days a week. I'm forced to fend for myself and find myself at "Mike's Roast Beef" constantly! The food is fresh, service incredibly friendly, and the chefs consistently the same. Their menu has a wide variety of subs, pizza, pasta dinners, and calzones. My only "mini" peeve is that they close shop, on paper at 9:00pm, in reality, 8:30pm because by then the grill is already off, the floors swept, tables washed, and the door ready to be locked. I suppose the staff is exhausted because they run non-stop from the time the door opens. One of their best bets is the Monday through Wednesday half price pasta dinners. Great way to save money for the family. If you're in the neighborhood, drop in; I think you'll be back!

So I've been here a few times for lunch when I'm working in the area. I love that you walk in and they have many different pizzas ready to grab a slice. All of which are great. My favorite is the chicken broccoli Alfredo. Calzones are equally as good, and they have many ready to grab and go. Rice balls are another of my favorite, and I hear the ribs are great too. You really can't go wrong here. Love Mario's.
