My wife and I stopped in because we were intrigued with the name and the fact that they literally opened a garage door and there was a food counter and the entire kitchen! Chef Matt welcomed us and offered us any kind of pizza we wanted, special ingredients, and the like. We ordered a large "Niagara" with fresh asparagus, and premium prosciutto (Pingue) added after baking. He then drizzled a special dressing with olive oil, garlic, and basil that added wonderful flavour. Out of this world great pizza. We had a great time talking to Matt while we ate. There was a small table and 3 chairs that allowed us to do this. Owner Franca was really nice to speak with also. Thanks guys for a fun and tasty visit!

Local friends took us to the new Bricks and Barley restaurant in Virgil just 10 minutes from Old Town NOTL. We are so pleased they did. Great service and good food. We enjoyed wood oven pizzas, The Veneto (asiago-artichoke base, chicken, bacon, mozzarella, caramelized onions, spinach. and the Fungus Among Us (Garlic olive oil, selection of mushrooms, caramelized onions, fontina, rosemary.)There local beer selection is excellent and a nice change from the ever present wine in the area.

Stop by for light fare, finger foods, burgers and sandwiches and not to mention the best wings and pizza in town! Play a game of darts, or watch your favourite sports on one of our flat screen TVs. We are located next to the Colonel Butler Inn. Open year
Totally unexpected and delighted by all six of us. We could not get a suitable reservation at a competitive eatery who then recommended Butler's for the food. We went, were nicely greeted and seated by smiling staff. Inside, the place looks like a pub, but with a very pleasant and bright restaurant on the side and separated from any pub noise. The menu is varied and has some delicious items as well as signature pizza. This is way above your traditional pub food. There was something for everyone, male and female ages 12 to 80. We will be back

It was reasonably priced enough, but the panko breaded fish was dry and tasteless. The small serving of coleslaw was so dry that we thought that possibly the tartar sauce was meant to be salad dressing and asked the waitress. We much prefer fish & chips at other restaurants in NOTL. The service, however, was excellent.

We visited here after a recommendation from our B&B owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices of wood fired pizzas, which were delightfully crisp, thin based and had delicious toppings. Exactly as they should be.We found the wine menu to be full of inspired choices and had quite a dilemma in choosing.Service was friendly and efficient and we would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Very stylish restaurant serving great food and a wide selection of wines. Large terrace, which was very busy despite the rather low light level. We chose to eat inside since we were unsure how cold it may get on the terrace as the evening progressed.Good service and lots of free parking.

We are a small family run Italian restaurant specializing in classic Neapolitan Pizza, certified by the Vera Pizza Napoletana in Naples, Italy.
we decided to stop by on the recommendation of others staying at our B&B and so glad we did.....we ordered the special of the day, the portobello mushroom, honey garlic, fresh mozzarella cheese ball/truffle oil...WOW was it yummy!!everything tasted so fresh and all the flavors were well paired....i also topped with just a bit of EVOO and it was a great added touch....the place itself is not large so i can see on busy day how it could be really crowded and loud really quick but we had no issues with that...there were five other tables when we were there and it was fine..there are also some seats upstairs...our waiter was very attentive for sure and made sure we were doing well during our entire visit....i saw him being just as attentive to all the other tables too!after eating we went upstairs where they sell the plates you eat off of...they are each handmade in italy...they also sell plants, mostly succulentsthe price for our pizza was $30 canadian. so that is about $23 us ... while i personally think it is a bit high we decided to go for it as we were on a mini vacation...part of that might be because i come from a small town with a ton of shops who aren't that pricey....in bigger cities i get they can and do charge morethe decor is nice and clean and fresh. that being said i just assumed it would be more of an italian theme in there....i was just shocked to see the modern flashbottom line...delicious , fresh pizza. served with a smile and in a short period of time...staff treats you very well...its clean and invitingwould i come again....absolutely! ENJOY!
