Bright and modern, Pizza Express offers an exciting reinvention of Italian classics. A vibrant menu includes wholesome Romana-style pizzas with adventurous topping combinations, as well as fresh salads, an impressive range behind the bar and aromatic coff
Visited on a Wednesday night so had a 2 for 1 on the mains , this makes the food very good quality for the money. Normal prices are a little high I think for a pizza. Quality of food was excellent , hot and tasty, Recommend the Carbonara Pizza xThey do a started and main set menu for £10.95 which seems great value to me too.

Bella Italia have over 100 Italian restaurants across the UK serving pizza, pasta, Italian classics and more, made with ingredients from Italian-family producers.
Ate there 14th and 15th September, booked in advance although it was not really necessary. Taken straight to table. Drinks order within minutes and food order likewise. Not much of a wait, food delicious and hot. Offered cheese and pepper as order delivered. Tiramisu as always heavenly. No complaints whatsoever. Would I go again? Definitely.

ASK Italian in Newbury is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Italian f
A fabulous meal for a 10th birthday. The food was all lovely and the children's menu is great value. The Light Asparagus & Pancetta Carbonara was historic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The birthday cake with a candle was a lovely touch and appreciated.

We had booked during lunchtime for dinner and were greeted by a very friendly restaurant manager (?) who had taken our booking, he remembered I was gluten free and we got a nice table by the window and pizza oven! (much cooler than you might imagine!).We shared three starters between us which was excessive! the portions were quite generous especially the tomato bruschetta. The main courses were equally good, the veal was a little over cooked for me (a personal preference perhaps) but the flavour was exceptional and the sardine pasta was really yummy - desserts were a little disappointing but we didn't really need them. We did feel a little rushed, but i guess we could have asked them to slow the service down a bit..... the really sad bit was the tepid wine and lemoncello, we had to get ice for the wine and the lemoncello (tricky in those little glasses!). HOWEVER; this wouldn't stop us going again - we'll just ask for ice from the very beginning!

This place certainly does fabulous pizzas, I visited recently with my grown up children (19 & 22) as mum was on a ladies night. The pizzas were all brilliant, certainly deserved the accolade of best in Newbury, the ice cream was excellent also. But as always these places get greedy with drinks, £4 for a Small moretti and £3 for an even smaller coke does take the gloss of slightly, we had two drinks each for 3 Alcoholic and 3 soft, total £21.00 bloody rip off, its a shame really, they just get greedy with the drinks prices, some of there ciders were over a £5, next time we come we will drink water and have some drinks else where before getting here!Hi Loveallthingsspanish,Thanks for taking the time to write the review. I am more than happy to hear you all enjoyed our lovely pizzas and our homemade gelato.Your comments regarding our drinks prices however I feel are a bit exaggerated. Before pricing our drinks we always do our research. Value for money is very important to us. We also have children and we understand that going out to eat with family isn't cheap. The prices of our drinks are very competitive, actually even cheaper than some other chain restaurants. Considering that we try to use local artisan suppliers who have higher prices than the big boys. Things like these, we have to take into consideration in our sale prices.I hope I managed to provide a little perspective into our pricing. We look forward to welcoming you all again soon.Kind regardsThe team of Lusso
