We found La Mia Casa as we were looking for Bellini's, which must have been at the location in the past.The restaurant is up and alley off of Shanghai Road near Beijing West Road. It is clean and spacious. We were greeted by friendly staff and took our seats near the pizza kitchen.We ordered the pepperoni pizza, spinach and bacon pizza, pasta with meat sauce and a couple of Caesar salads for the four of us. They brought hot bread to the table to nosh on before the food arrived. Salads came first and were excellent with a nice dressing. The pizzas and pasta arrived next and were really good. The dough was good pizza dough and the pizzas were baked almost perfectly (I would have left them in the oven for another minute or so). The pasta and sauce was also tasty and good.La Mia Casa is a nice place to grab a pie and with the bar and TVs you can eat, have a drink or two and relax for the evening. I will go back.

Gilly's is an American-style Bar & Grille, owned and operated by an American family; and the kind American hospitable attitude immediately shows. Whether you are in Nanjing for a night, or a month on business, they will take you in, treat you to amazing food and drinks, & welcome you in, making sure you feel at home & put a smile on your face. They have loads of activities that range from Darts, board games, pub quiz, 'Mexican Monday' , and the place always has some friendly foreign faces in it to keep the mood great.The beers are reasonably priced, and they always have a cheaper light beer on tap for when you are trying to "ball on a budget". Also have all sorts of fun and unique shots (the Irish Car-bombs there are the stuff of legend)And last but not least, the food. With decades of cooking experience, you will find the owner Tom outside the restaurant there at least once a week with his smoker; smoking up all sorts of delectable meats including Chicken, Steak, Pork, and Salmon (the smoked salmon is a MUST-TRY). If you are looking for a fun and delicious place that reminds you of home, Gilly's is by FAR and away the best place to go in Nanjing.

I've lived in Nanjing for a couple years and have sampled lots of pizza places around town. Pisa Pizza has the best pizza in the city. They make thin crust pizzas in a wood-fired oven and they are all delicious. When Chinese students are rewarded with dinner by their parents or teachers, they're taken to KFC. When foreigners in Nanjing are treated to dinner by their Chinese company or school, they're taken to Pisa Pizza. It's reliably good. Besides the pizza, I'd recommend the seafood. Salads and desserts are okay. Coffee is mediocre and overpriced. The original location was small and cramped, sometimes it was hard to get a table, but they expanded by opening Gourmet Village a couple doors down the street. Gourmet Village has a new menu of seafood, steaks and other fine western dishes, but you can order the pizzas from that location, too.

I usually do not like Pizza hut at all but this was very good. We didn't feel like cooking and got the Roast Duck pizza...very nice!

This was our second time came to VIE CHAT. This time with special purpose and excitement.When we arrived at VIE CHAT, we chose to eat indoor. As soon as we entered the restaurant, manager greeted us with smile and asked us how many of us. He led us to a two-seat table and warmly reminded us there was a hook under the table where we could hang our bags. He brought us the menu and kindly asked us if we would like to have some drinks first and informed us the current promotion of the Hamburger Championship, happy hour and recommended a spring specialty, staff are so friendly and cute.Main courses: big dishes holding the hamburger and tuna salad, there were so many ingredients in the burger, even had avocado!!! The sauce is milky and pungent but also tasty. The famous Long Island Tea and Mango Margarita was excellent!! Next time we will try something more classic like MOJITO.The atmosphere just like the Shanghai Fondation tea in Xintiandi Shanghai, I will be back for sure!!!
