It was terrible. We'd ordered few glasses of red wine and wine was hot almost like tea, because they keep wine bottles on the shelf under straight sun rays. We'd asked to bring us different portions of normal temperature but they only proposed us to add ice cubes to wine. One of my friend has ordered long-drink and ask not to put ice in it. Despite my friend's ask, cocktail was composed by ice almost on half. He has to take out large ice pieces with a fork.It's all was completed with the fact that we'd waited for waitress to come for minimum 10 minutes.

I was looking for options to have my dinner, after checking in at around 18 in the next door hotel (Admiral Greig), but most options were at least 1-2 km away. I decided to try my luck in the entertainment complex known as Shtorm. In addition to a restaurant, there is also a bar, bowling hall and nightclub here. The restaurant is right in the action of the bowling hall, so I imagine it can be noisy at times, but it did not bother me, as I was happy to get a filling evening meal.The interior is almost over-the-top maritime with lots of pictures, ship models, uniforms, a huge compass in the ceiling etc, but it is all quite fun and unusual, although Mykolaiv was known as a shipbuilding city and important port during Soviet times. Even the menu is called 'Ship's Journal' - and yes they do have a full English menu, although the staff speak very little English. But if you go to Mykolaiv, you should be expected to know more than a single language ;)Wait staff also wear maritime uniforms, it is quite neat :)The menu is huge and I had a hard time deciding what to choose, but I went for some favourites, as they usually work well: Caesar salad, borsch, and a pork dish with mushroom sauce and pan fried potatoes with onion as a side dish.All accompanied by a nice glass of quite local Chardonnay, and in the heat, the cooled white wine was a godsend.I even got a wet cloth for hands and face wash, which also felt very good after the sweaty bus trip and 30 C in the city.There were tiny flies buzzing around, and they did not want to leave me alone, so it was a bit irritating - then one decided to take a bath in my wine. As I tried to fish it up, the waiter saw it and asked if something was wrong. I was able to explain the situation, and he brought me a full new glass at no extra charge. Now THAT is what I call good service - and this together with the lovely cloth deserves an extra star alone, as it is something I would not expect, especially in this part of the world.I was also satisfied with my food, nothing was untouched by me, and my second meal since (late) breakfast really filled me up and made me a happy bunny for the remainder of the evening - and I had enough energy from it to go for a walk to and in the pedestrian area of Soborna street.

The place is a blend of fast food, pizza hut and european cuisine restaurant. Big selection of salads and pizzas everything is fresh and tasty. Interior is nicely arranged, staff is friendly. Excellent place for a quick lunch or couple beers on the weekend.

I thought the atmosphere was good and the food tastes good. Generally I would recommend trying this restaraunt. But I did get sick from eating there. Very bad diarrhea. The cleanliness of the food preparation can prevent this. I wish restaraunts would be more careful about food preparation.

I think these guys are good at what they do. The staff was nicely trained. Salads and bruschetta with salmon is unbelievable. You probably tried all that elsewhere but cappuccino with lavender milk is something that I have never came across and it's a good one to try. Interior has a nice modern character. Price wise: a bit overpriced knowing the overall pricing in this city. But it worth it.

This pizzeria has the best pizza i've ever tried. No joke. Caesar and coliseum salads are the best. Desserts are great too. Very clean place. Suitable for kids. Also it's possible to order home delivery or takeaway. You can choose ingredients you like for the pizza or just order those ones they offer. Hot chocolate is also great.

Delicious food, especially pizza, borscht and calzone. Alcohol is only wine from Ukrainian manufacturer, white and red.
