Great tasting pizza! Fresh and full of flavor. I've cut back a bit on my pizza, except for Steel City. You will not be disappointed.

Casual family restaurant serving Detroit style pizza, salads, pasta and kids meals, as well as craft beer and wine.
This pizzeria is located in a little strip mall. I went for the takeout so canât say much about eating in - other than there were plenty of people at booths enjoying their food and drink. We ordered the Detroit version of a supreme pizza. The cashier said it was a good choice. The pizza was similar to Chicago in that itâs thick pizza loaded with toppings, which are clearly not good for you. I had a couple of pieces and I was ready for a nap. Good stuff - we will be back.

Dropped in for lunch and ordered several slices. Counter service was efficient and friendly. Slices arrived a few minutes later and were outstanding. Nice crisp bottom - no drooping when held NY style - good sauce and cheese and plenty of topping. Definitely a keeper.

I have eaten here before when in town for business. The pizza here is very good. I had a Caesar Salad to start off. My pizza consisted of pepperoniâs, bell pepper & onions. The service is always great too. I like sitting to the right when you walk into the restaurant. They have tables in front of the bar area. Will return again.

Just about everything at Amalfi's was perfect, including the small quaint Italian atmosphere, the service, the food and the prices. The meal started with an excellent complementary basket of bread. Large, dense bread with just the perfect amount of doughtiness served with Olive oil.Next came two great bowls of Soup:The wife had a Creamy Tomato Bisque with herbs, while I enjoyed Crab bisque. The crab bisque had excellent flavor, but it could have used larger chunks of crab meat. The wife thought the Cozze E Vongole was one of the best pasta dishes she has ever enjoyed. The entree consisted of Fresh local little neck clams and black mussels sautéed with garlic, EVOO, white wine, with cherry tomato served over linguine. While I requested a special order of perfectly cooked meatballs, with a mix of onion and peppers served and a fantastic marinara sauceWe finished the meal with Two pieces of the most amazing cannoli. The only dish that was not exceptional was the Pizza. The pizza sauce was good, but we prefer our crust cooked dark and crispy, while this crust was blanch and doughy. As I said above the prices are very reasonable. A meal this good, with these portion sizes in downtown Charleston would have easily cost us twice the amount

Charleston is THE goto destination for high quality dining and Mount Pleasant is no exception. We visited here last night and were blown away. I had lobster ravioli which was phenomenal. We also had gnocchi, pizza and caesar salad. All of it was excellent. I definitely can recommend this place for high quality Italian fare.
