After going to a movie at the local theater, my husband and I stopped at Grande's for something to eat. Upon entering, you see the murals on the walls which are very appealing. A friendly waitress seated us and we were waited on promptly. We ordered the Grande Steak Hoagie which was packed with steak, cheese, peppers, fried onions, mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato. We also got 2 slices of pizza to try it. It was flavorful with a not-too-thin crispy crust. I would go back to try a dinner. The prices are reasonable and you get your money's worth.
Cebula's Pizza & Bar located at 295 Main St in Dupont, PA, has been around since 1939. Rated in the Top 5 places to eat in their area, on Trip Advisor, Cebulas offers a menu that is described by the locals as "the best kept secret in NEPA"Cebulas Pizza is Topped with American cheese instead of Mozzarella, and isnât served with toppings, has a crispy bottom dough, and homemade crust (so if you are a simple cheese pizza lover this spot is for you!) The pizza is $2.25 per cut and $18.00 for an 8 cut tray. Since we read so many reviews on Facebook about their Pizza and Bula Bites (chicken bites named after the family's last name) we decided to give them a try! I preferred the Bula Bites over the Pizza. (Iâm a wing lover). The Bula-Bites were tender and juicy, but my favorite part was size; these suckers are cut into pretty big chunks! I also loved the sauce I was drinking the remnants of what was left out of the bowl like soup! (Psst! Itâs also a great dipping sauce for the pizza!) I enjoyed a Coney Island Hard Root Beer (with notes of vanilla, licorice, and birch) with my meal, a drink I haven't seen anywhere else in the area and it was the perfect pairing.Among Pizza and Bula Bites, Cebulas also offers a simple menu including: a Bula Bite sandwich, a garden salad, steaks, cheese steaks, grilled cheeses, hamburgers and cheeseburgers.During my visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with our server Jade, a 4th generation Cebula family member. She told me that Cebulas has been around since 1939 and is family owned and operated. A lot of the decor inside is still from the 1930s and carries a lot of nostalgia for those born and raised in NEPA.So if you decide to visit Cebulas, make sure you go to the ATM because it is a cash only facility. The Cebula family will be happy to seat & serve you and take you back to your childhood. They are open Wednesday through Saturday 4:00pm-10:30pm and Bar hours are Monday/Tuesday 5:00 âClose. For more information visit their Facebook page at Cebula's Pizza & Bar or visit their website at 570-655-8809. Let us know what you think and let them know who sent you! -Klines Korner NEPA FoodBlog

Went to The Gourmet Slice around 7 last night for a quick bite. Ordered the Pasta with vodka sauce, meatball and garlic knot special. It was served on a paper plate swimming in sauce the meat ball was cold and not home made. The very few pizza choices (3) looked like they were sitting for hours. Most of the empty tables were dirty. My daughter had the broccoli and shells which was just ok. I don't think I would go back

We ate here mainly because it was close to our hotel. The food sounded good after a day of travel. I had a beer, which they brew, that was good. The waiter was polite and pleasant. The best menu item we ordered was the adult grilled cheese. The stuffed shells were good as was the pizza. It was a nice spot for a family to eat.

My wife was working long hours recently. We decided to order take-out for convenience. My wife and daughter voted for Salerno's Pizza despite my disagreement. We have had their pizza and it is just not good, in my opinion, at least for everybody. This is a niche style pizza. If you like hard crust, burnt cheese and little to no sauce, then THIS is the place for you. I have said to my family previously I did not care for their pizza, but I lost again. Well I was SO RIGHT this time, my wife opened the box and shook her head in disgust, took two pieces, finished one and then asked if anyone wanted anymore of "THIS". I forced two pieces, my daughter one, which she shared crust with the dog and my wife proceeded to throw the rest out. The old saying is "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on ME." There WILL BE NO THIRD TIME! There are too many quality pizza shops in the area and I will no longer pay for substandard food being passed off as fit for human consumption. As I said, if YOU like it....God Bless and enjoy, but never another cent of my money spent here.

We had cuts of the red tray pizza. Hot out of the oven. Very good. There was a basket of small round loaves of bread. It was so good. I wish I had some olive oil with garlic and spices to dip it in. Definitely a good stop if you are in the area. Mary Lou and Rebecca were very nice.

My husband was going to another restaurant on Montage Mountain, nut it was full.So we went to Nonnoâs. I ordered Margherita Pizza. One of the best I ever had. My husband had very good boneless wings and great fries. Then I saw the description to their NY cheesecake. Although I was full, I took it home. Yummy!

We came in on a Saturday night sat at the bar. the two male bartenders just great service and drinks. UNLIKE all change restaurant drinks, either coming out of a gun or very little liquor . The drinks where great . love the bread basket and bread sticks. We order the sole and chicken franchise. Both where excellent. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. nice friendly bar !! Keep up the great work !!

Six of us chowed down on the perfect pizza:Red sauce, onions and billowy cheese atop a perfect crispy on the bottom/flavorful on the top crust. Having visited Old Forge numerous times over the decades, we were delighted as a family to have savored the best from the Pizza Capital of the World. Attentive service and ideal beer and wine options doesn't disappoint either. The remainder of the menu is pure Italian. Another reason to return!
