The only reason we returned to this place is because we had a coupon and my husband said the pasta was better than the pizza the last time he went. Although the service was good, the place has an odd odor that is highly offensive - unsure if it's all the aging cheese or what. The Italian pinot noir was nothing special. The first bread the waitress gave us was so hard it would have broken a glass window. We asked if that was the best and she returned with a freshly baked loaf, but still it's just plain white bread, nothing special. The Caesar salad lettuce appeared fresh but had zero flavor; the croutons were so hard we almost broke our teeth; the Caesar dressing had an odd flavor. The Supremo Pizza arrived b/4 the pasta but the waitress warned us they may come out at different times since they're prepared at different stations (huh?). Hubby said pizza was ok. I tried a small bite and had the same reaction as prior visit - something not agreeable to my palate is on these pizzas. The baked ziti finally arrived and has absolutely no flavor; was just a huge plate of pasta with some cheese melted on top sprinkled with a tiny bit of basil. Because they serve family style, we unfortunately have all this left over food that we do not want to eat. We have another coupon, but will not return.
This is an average place with decent pizza. The salad is ok but the quality of the salad toppings has dropped over the last several years. The pizza is typical and not really special.
This is a super casual place to bring your kids and/or watch sports. Only had their pizza once and its very average... fine. Medium-to-thick crust. Lots of all-you-can-eat pasta deals at various times of year. They play Dodger games on their TV (something not all restaurants can do these days...) and I'm sure other sports. Great for families and teenagers.
its L.C. Pizza. Cheap and average. What did you expect??? The best thing other than the low price is the short wait for the pizza.

Always good! Not to mention price is a plus! This was our first time ordered from this Dominos. Everything was perfect.

New York style pizza. Seems to be open more in the evening than for lunch. Its a bar really, set up for live music. The pizza slices are really good, and large. Order at the counter, some good beers on tap. Nice looking Ramones era memorabilia. Decent beers on tap.
If you like overcooked dry tasteless pizza then this is the place for you. If not, i would go elsewhere.

We opened Custom Pie on April 23rd, 2013, with the idea that great pizza comes from high quality ingredients prepared with care and passion. We believe in our pizza, we love our pizza and hope you love it as much as we do. Bringing you the best pizza in V
Have been going to Custom Pie since they opened and it has always been the best pizza in Ventura County. Great flavor, toppings, combinations and a crust to die for- pouffy and chewy edges with just the right amount of charring (leopard spots).Went back last night and was very disappointed. The place just felt like it had new ownership. Since the demise of Custom Melt next door, we feared the worst. Phil, the previous owner, was terrific. He took pride in his quality and took care of his customers. The dough, the sauce, the toppings were all first rate. We had 3 different pizzas last night and the dough was flat, dry and tasteless, the toppings were skimpy and they just didn't taste like the same pizzas we've enjoyed there for years. We'll give it another try, hopefully chalking up last night to an off night. Hoping for the best. Would be a shame to lose such a great place.
