We ordered take away and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. An hour later it was ready! The shop was empty so not sure what the delay was.One of our pizzas hadn't been sliced! The other one was covered in carrot!Wont be going back.So long ago, could not tell you what happened on the night. You can only ever estimate how busy it may be as any restaurant owner will tell you. We have two pizzas that have carrot on them, and they are very popular. I originally thought the same until I tasted them. The carrot gives them a refreshing crispy taste, and both pizzas, and for that matter most of our pizzas were designed by a 5 star chef.

You could easily walk past this little gem. Unassuming, almost clinical with a standard kitchen layout, very clean, a little indoor seating, and little stock standard italian trinkets and a local favorite. After trying the pizza and tiramisu i could see why. Recommend the Michaelangelo - it is really delicious. As well as their tiramisu - this is what people want when they order tiramisu soaked, liquer laced, fresh mascarpone - perfecto!

Iâve been coming here for many years and apparently there has been a recent change of ownership.I hope it is just teething problems but this is not the same restaurant. The specials were âoddâ in design. The service was attentive but not well trained. The food delivery timing was all over the place.The chips here used to be fantastic. Theyâve switched to polenta chips only and all kids at the table said they were gross. Again, an odd decision. Thankfully the BYO is still intact as the beer and wine choice were limited and âno nameâ. In summary my hope is that the new management can right this ship. If not, one of the most reliable restaurant in Newport is gone.

2 adults and 3 children for Friday lunch.Pizzas were generously topped, but not unpleasantly overloaded. Good thin base, although it could have been a little crisper. By contrast, the kids' gelato was a disappointing experience. Only 4 flavours were on offer. There was only enough chocolate gelato for 2 serves. A request for a refill of the chocolate was met with a bald, firm statement that an order had not come. Customer service lacking there. One child gamely offered to have lemon gelato. What a sad experience that was. There was no discernible lemon flavour, just a strange vinegar-like taste accompanied by a harsh, lingering chemical overtone. Lemon gelato is a personal favourite and I could not tolerate more than a tiny taste. The children were good sports and shared the 2 chocolate ice creams available. The small spend on the lemon was a complete waste. Such a shame that the negative aspects of desert and service over shadowed the positive enjoyment of the pizza.Surprisingly, Nonnas restaurant was not busy on a Friday lunchtime in January. There were only about a dozen people in the area. It was a pity that our fun lunch ended on a sour note.

Specialist pizza place in Narrabeen.Parking next door.Bus stop out front.Sourdough a specialty here. We were out back near the bar. This area obviously gets busy and is very loud.Our Batista pizza was a little soggy and the beers overpriced. The overall experience will probably be our last.

Have visited 3 times now.Pasta and Pizza are very good (but not earth shattering).Service very good and friendly Value very good -including very reasonable liquor prices A nice big open seating area where you are not squashed in but can get a little noisy (maybe they can add some acoustic treatments.)Décor good.Will certainly be back with the family and friends to support a local business.

Of late we have been having pizza at the newport but we were introduced to Torro Nero & we love it. Great pizzas with a huge menu ! indoors so you can keep warm in winter & the service is fantastic. Staff cant help you enough.

We were a group getting together on a Saturday evening.The food is quite good, hot at service and tasty.The eating area expanded during our stay as more customers arrived.This is one of many pizza/Italian Food eateries on the Northern beaches, this one must be in the better group.The group, about 12 persons seemed all to enjoy the meals they ordered - that is a good recommendation!Caruso's is well worth a visit!
