A warm, rustic, Northwoods bar and grill.
We stopped in there to watch the Badger game and have a few beers and snacks. Friendly bartenders and customers. The pizza the people next to us were eating looked and smelled verrry good! We weren't that hungry so just had some snacky things. We've stopped several times since our maiden visit there and will go again.

This Mom and Pop bake-at-home pizza place is really owned and operated by a "Mom and Pop" and it shows! The ingredients are so high quality and fresh that you actually taste each one, and the crisp crust is outstanding. We are from Chicago, which gives us some pizza cred., and this pizza is outstanding. Mom and Pop are really nice too.

Alexanderâs Pizza is a clean, comfortable, mom and pop joint; originally founded in 1972. A Chicago native by the name of Dean Crist visited the Minocqua area as a college student in 1968 and worked as a camp counselor. He also began making pizza in one of Minocquaâs downtown establishments to supplement income. Upon graduation from college, Dean decided to operate his very own pizzeria. Business was so brisk that he decide to find another location, and so he bought and remodeled the old Aqua Theater and renamed it Alexanderâs. Today, this great pizzeria creates only the best pizza pies made out of the finest quality natural ingredients. Our group really enjoyed eating at this establishment. And with a pocket full of quarters for game machines, itâs a great place for kids on a rainy day.
American supper club - specializing in Steak, Pasta and seafood.
We have been coming to Minocqua for 3 years. During that time, we have eaten at every upscale Resturaunt in Minocqua, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, Hazelhurst and Manitowish Waters. We have discovered a number of fine resturaunts which we enjoy, but Minocqua Prime is head and shoulders the best!Minocqua Prime is located a few miles West of US-51 on the North side of Wisconsin 70 in what used to be Mamaâs Supper Club. We were up the week after Labor Day and decided to give Minocqua Prime a try. Today is September 19th and we have been back twice already! It is that good.I would describe Minocqua Prime as primarily a steakhouse, but with a variety of chicken, seafood and pasta dishes as well. We have tried the salmon (very good flavor and expert preparation), the excellent tenderloin medallions and my favorite, the very flavorful ribeye. The sides are very good, especially the green beans which are cooked to perfection â still with a bit of crunch. The beef barley soup was excellent. However, my biggest delight is that the Chef actually knows how to cook a steak to order! I like a very, very rare steak, cooked so that it is still blue in the center. I got my steak cooked the way I like it at Minocqua Prime Supper Club! The interior is pleasant, the staff friendly and competent and the view of Curtis Lake immediately outside the window is most pleasant. The dinner prices are reasonable. The wine list, while small, is nice and the prices are well in line. All in all, whatâs not to like? The whole package together makes the Minocqua Prime Supper Club the best resturaunt in Minocqua! Try it, you wonât be disappointed!

I ordered a sausage & pepperoni pizza from these people one night while in town for the Ice Cold Beer Festival. The pizza was dry, over-cooked, and totally without flavor. It might as well have been an empty box with some lousy cheese sprinkled on it.This is the second (and last Dominoes) pizza I've ordered that turned out this way. I contacted their corporate people to report the horrible product and was told that I'd be contacted by the franchisee. It never happened. Dominoes will never get my business again. It used to be good years ago but it's horrible these days (AND they are so arrogant that even when you complain nothing happens.)
