We live in coastal North Carolina - we are pizza deprived. This was the best US pizza I have had since I visited New York City. The crust was firm, crisp yet had the right chew. The toppings were all just excellent starting with the sauce and cheese. We had left overs and they reheated in the skillet just fine.

The Grove, as it's known by their sign and website, was the perfect place to go after a full day in the sun. It was cool, and dark, with comfortable booths. Plenty of TV's to take in sports action. Good selection of pub food and my burger and fries were great. Taralyn, our server, was very friendly, and service was great. I would definitely go back for a relaxing good meal. Located right on McLoughlin with plenty of parking.

There used to be Pietro's Pizza Parlours all over the Northwest but now there's just a few survivors in the Portland, OR area. Thankfully, they haven't changed. We drove down from Seattle just to enjoy a Bar Maid Special and weren't disappointed. The thin crust, cheese, and meats are the same tastes we enjoyed back when there were Pietro's in Washington State. We even brought one home for enjoyment later.Pietro's has always been a family oriented restaurant and this location is no different. They have a fairly large gaming area and between the kids and birthday parties it does get loud (even when the restaurant isn't full). The place wouldn't be the same though without the atmosphere. If you like quiet, eat elsewhere. What would be nice though would be if there could be some outdoor seating. The restaurant has a large parking lot (and is next to a bowling alley) with no shade (for those traveling with a pet). Kind of makes the dining experience awkward if you're trying to dine with Fido. The prices are a bit higher than some of the competition but the taste is just so much better. We're glad to see that a newer branch has opened up and hope that perhaps one day they'll come back to Seattle.

Nostranaâliterally 'ours' âinvokes local. Simple food from honest ingredients. Pure. Regional. Italian. Opened in 2005, Nostrana is Chef/Owner Cathy Whims' love letter to Italy. This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and pur
We were looking for a good Italian restaurant on our recent visit. Our Uber driver suggested we try Nostranoâs instead of our original destination. So glad we listened to him. We sat at the chefâs table and had a fabulous meal. Our waitress was efficient but most importantly the food and wines were fabulous. The ambience is superb and they even have a great patio for outdoor dining. We really love bed the pizza and pasta we chose.

Found Opa Pizzaria on business travel and now enjoy returning when I come to town. The pizza has a good thin crispy crust and the cheese and sauce have good flavor. They have a couple good draft beer selections along with some bottled options. Variety of other things on the menu and have nice outdoor tables when the weather is good. Recommend checking it out.

We stopped in for lunch (No Movie) and sat outside by the lake to enjoy a surprisingly delicious pizza. The pizza was better than some we have experienced at pizza restaurants. The outside ambiance is calming. I peeked into the theater to see what the seating was like; it's like a restaurant with bar seating and regular tables in the back of the theater where you can eat and drink while enjoying a movie. The theater has a full bar, and a very reasonably priced food menu, as well as the usual theater fare.

Flying Pie Pizzeria of Portland, OR - hand tossed with pride! Why do our devoted customers keep coming back for more? If you want to sink your teeth into a mouth-watering pizza that uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and is made without using s
Flying Pie is our go to for the best pizza around. So hearty because they're generous with toppings, the Italian sausage is amazing. Spicy but not too much, and they load it on there. Fresh garlic is always an option without charging extra. The lunch special, a slice and one run through the salad bar is the best around as well, their salad bar is a good one. When I'm craving pizza and want the good stuff, I come to Flying Pie.

Chuckie Pies has won are hearts and is our FAVORITE artisan pizza place. They've just moved to a new location in downtown Lake Oswego--don't worry, tons of free parking nearby. The restaurant is warm and inviting and the brevity of the menu makes it easy to select something fantastic as you really can't go wrong. Our favorite is the Stromboli pizza with a chop salad on the side! My Italian husband won't go anywhere else!!

We occasionally come here to hear our friends play music and, while we're at it, grab some food. This time we ordered a "Fix the Bridge" pizza with added sausage, some decent chardonnay and a pint of beer (they have interesting choices). While clearly made with top-rank ingredients, the pizza was rather thin on veggies, used the type of Italian sausage that is sliced -- and not much of it for the extra $$ -- but was chewy and tasty (if somewhat bland). Actually, it improved when we took home the extra and reheated it the next day. Anyhow, the server was great, the ambiance is delightful, and we even found a nearby parking place! Some great musicians play here, too.
