Things to do in Milltown
We ordered dinner for delivery to our motel room. Both fried zucchini and fried eggplant were mistakes. Right off some supply truck with lots of breading, hard to taste the vegetables, probably waved. Pizza was ok. Ordered their special toppings. Toppings were good, dough not so.Sorry to say, this is the sort of stuff you get in a neighborhood Italian restaurant these days. There are excellent Italian restaurants in places like New Haven. But around the country, it really is discouraging.

Our son loves to visit whenever heâs in town. However, everything was different including the poor service, food quality, cleanliness. Something has gone seriously wrong from a management perspective. Why do I say this? Here are the facts. We ordered two slices of pizza. One slice came as a plain slice with mushrooms and cheese thrown on top. Thatâs what was not ordered. When we questioned the order, the server and chef took offense by saying thatâs how itâs made. Wrong!! We know what should have been done to fill the order not just dress up leftovers for sale.My meal failed to come with soup or salad until we questioned the order. Finally a bowl came at the same time as the entrees. It was tasteless and too hot. The entrees were no different for our family. What a disappointment!! Even the portion size was reduced. There were very few patrons during dinner time. Something has changed and itâs not good. No recommendation here.

This is a small place with a small parking lot. Inside is a typical style pizza area and a separate dining room. We had a 15 minute wait. The food is very good. The meals come with a large salad and bread that tastes freshly made. Typical Italian dishes. The waitress came to every table and gave each diner a sample half slice of pizza. The slice we tasted was very good. The service was decent but a little slow.
Home of the original XL NY Slice. Since 1956, Sbarro has been serving the XL NY Slice. Starting with made-daily hand stretched dough, San Marzano style sauce and topped with 100% Whole Milk Mozzarella cheese.
En route home from vacation in Pennsylvania, we stopped for lunch at the Sbarro in the food court of the Joyce Kilmer Service Plaza on the New Jersey Turnpike Northbound in Milltown, NJ.I ordered a slice of the Pan Veggie Pizza. My friend ordered a slice of the Cheese Pizza. Both were $4.70 + 31 cents tax for a total of $5.01 each.It was about a 3-minute wait while our pizza slices were being heated. Meanwhile, we got our beverages from the soft drink machine. Service was prompt and courteous. The dining area tables were clean. My slice pizza was quite good. The vegetables kept the pizza moist. The toppings were fresh and abundant. My friend didnât care much for her plain Cheese Pizza. She thought it was a little dry. Overall, we rate our slices of pizza from this Sbarro at 3.50. Yeah yeah, I know, it's Dominoes and not "Jersey Pizza", which I am a huge fan. However, when feeding a bunch of kids who don't appreciate the Mom and Pop pizza Dominoes offers the best deals. We are able to two pizzas, garlic knots, cinnamon twists and a 2 liter of soda for the same price as 1 large pie elsewhere. Plus, the food is a very tasty too. When it comes to feeding a lot of people Dominoes pricing and food quality is outstanding!

The pizza was very fresh and delicious.Their website says they also offer baked ziti, fish, salads, French fries, but they were nowhere to be seen when I walked in.You may have to ask for those.and its kosher. The ambience does not exist, so this is not a great place for a first date or to bring business associates. But if you want good pizza, this is the place.

The wings are pretty hot but flavorful. I've been here twice. I also had the chicken parm. Which was good. My friend had the cheesteak which was better than Philly but that's not too hard to do lol. Service was excellent very nice people.

The only thing I've had here is the pizza. I think I've tasted 5 or 6 different kinds. The brick oven crust is the best. But the ingredients they use on the toppings make a huge difference - olive oil, Kalamata olives, broccoli rabe. I don't make a lot of distinctions about pizza, but this pizza is head and shoulders above anywhere else I've been in N.J. And the prices are really good too, well below average. I'm worried they won't be able to stay in business given that they don't charge a lot. This is a superior product.

This was once one of my go to spots. The pizza is still very good, but last few trips it hasn't been as great. We notice new people working, so not sure if new owners or new pizza makers. Have had some dinners there too, the normal food is your typical pretty good pizza place italian food. Their slices are usually on point. Great vodka grandma and very good buffalo chicken pizza's.

The carne pizza is really very good, beaten only by Franco Peppe's (we eat pizza often). The eggplant pizza was good - could do with more eggplant on it though. The large pizzas are enormous but being delicious nothing goes spare. We ordered through ubereats and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
