When traveling I have rarely come across a place which satisfies my children and myself so equally. I love a curry, especially a beef curry. My children are always delighted with a pizza. This restaurant also has a fine dining floor above the pizza floor. There is a decent view out across the hills to the sea. Downstairs there is an english pub which was also delightful.

Damianos Is A Family Run Restaurant,we Specialize In Pizza & Pasta Dishes.damianos Has Acquired A Reputation For Quality Food & Value Combined With A Genuine Warm Welcome.
This is a fairly small, cosy restaurant with a really nice ambiance. The menu has a large choice of pastas and pizzas and the wine is very reasonably priced. Service was great. I loved the pasta which I chose (Damianoâs special). My husband was slightly less enthusiastic about his lasagne which he found a little dry. He did however say that he would go back to try one of the pizzas which looked fantastic.

One of top #3 pizza I've ever had and I'm a pizza enthusiast, serving it around the world. The recipes differ and you might find some them really not on your taste just because you choose the wrong one.Just look carefully and pick the right ingredient for you.The location is appalling. But the staff is fantastic and they don't deserve less than 5* because of that.It could be crowded sometimes, so expect that. And it's off-way, so not really in line with other restaurants which you can easily choose from if this is full. But you should see them really struggling and working hard and you will understand they put their efforts and deserve nothing less than the best from you also.

A family orientated restaurant with beautiful sea views of St Paul's Island, Comino and Gozo. It forms part of the Malta National Aquarium Complex
Lovely pizza (nice and thin and crispy), great location but perhaps a little overpriced. 4 of us ate, and 3 of us had the mexicana pizza - not as spicy as any of us would have liked however - but this did not distract from the quality.
Taâ Celita is a newly revamped family run restaurant in the heart of Mgarr that has just opened its doors under the new management of Rose and Roberto Apap Bologna. Specialising in good hearty traditional Maltese food with a plethora of modern food items,
We visited ta celita three times on holiday. The food and service were brilliant. The prices were cheaper than the typical resort restaurants but the food was so much better. The staff are friendly and really know their stuff. In a square next to a church it's an authentic Maltese experience. Can't recommend this enough. We are so glad and honoured that you visited Ta' Celita multiple times. We would also like to thank you for finding the time to place a review on our restaurant. We really hope that we will see you again soon.Regards from the Ta Celita family.

Couldn't fault the location and vistas over Mellieha Bay, with the outside terrace seating directly above the water sports centre, so action at all timesPrices were reasonable, but the food was slow to come and served luke warm, but from two friendly serversFor location and a drink no complaints, but meal could have been betterDear GaryCI,Thanks for reviewing our restaurant. We are glad that you like the views over Mellieha Bay and the fact that you thought that our prices are reasonable. We are very sorry about the service temperature issues and the lack of urgency concerning the arrival of your food order to the table. The Shell Shack & Grill menu was created to reflect the Mediterranean spirit and cuisine of the Maltese islands. Thatâs why we always use fresh, local seafood to give our guests the best food experience possible. The same applies to our Grill section, too
We visited here on our first night as it was close to our guest house. We had a lovely table overlooking the bay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great choice of food.We had the pork belly and the fish special. Both were excellent. It is not cheap but we felt the quality of food and service was worth the money.

Myself & my partner had the maltese board starter which had enough food to be shared between 4 easily, it had various cheeses, olives, tomatoes & breads etc and was lovely and tasty! I then had the seafood pasta which was brimming with king prawns, clams & mussels, very tasty and a huge serving of pasta with a light sauce of white wine & garlic which went perfectly with the seafood. Partner had the vegetarian ravioli and loved it, all the food was tasty and huge portions! Didn't have a pudding as we were too full but all options sounded and looked fantastic! 2 courses, a bottle of wine & a bottle of water was around 40 euros which we thought was well priced.Dear Guest,Primarily I would like to thank you for you kind feedback. We are pleased to read you enjoyed your dinner experience. We sincerely hope to see you again during your next stay in Malta.Sincerely,Martha

Visit our Facebook page! Dine West Restaurant
We were advised to go for a Maltese dinner to Dine West and we have discovered a truly fabulous restaurant! And before we start the review congratulations with the 5th certificate of excellence!!!This restaurant lies in the street - nearly in the center of Mgarr where busroutes 44 and 101 pass every hour! Very easy! The restaurant has a good atmosphere, brings live coverage of sports events and has a nice wine cellar with open view.At our arrival we were greeted by the lady of the house and we got a warm welcome. Even though there was a large group of locals the service was impeccable! We ordered the local snails as a starter - ohh they were so good prepared within a redwine sauce- and for main we went for the lamb and thyme ravioli and a full rack of BBQ spare rib! The dishes were absolutely delicious and the size was more than enough! Compliments for the chef and his team in the kitchen, compliments for the staff in the restaurant while giving a perfect service and congrats with your certificate! You all deserve it!!! Many thanks for letting us being part of a true Maltese evening! Regards from Belgium - Peter
