This tidy pizzeria should always be crowded as the evening I went there for its high Quality. The pizza is made with a very original kind of dough, very crunchy but at the same time very tasty. The interior design of the whole pizzeria is very warm and nice, the stay is pleasant and the family who owns the business is kind and welcoming. Strongly recommended!

I passed with my family through Massa on our way to Cinque-Terre. We felt hungry for a good lunch and stopped by this restaurant. Although it is closed between 14:00H to 16:00H (siesta),...the owner (and chef) opened it especially for us,...with him and his wife providing us excellent fresh pastas and great reach salats. They showed us a great warmth welcoming,...letting us feel like a family. Cost is most fair & honest. We highly recomend this place for a nice lunch or dinner.

Amazing pizza, fantastic foccachia and extremely well tasting beef.This is nearly all their dishes except antipasti which also is an excellent combination of different prosciutto and cheese.We visit this place a couple of times each summer and it always ends up as beeing our baseline for comparisons.Family from Bergen, Norway

Locale molto caratteristico in un bell'ambiente, la pizzeria è piccola, consiglio quindi la prenotazione e vi assicuro che la pizza è veramente molto buona si ha la possibilità anche di scegliere tra impasto tradizionale e ai sette cereali.Io ho preso impasto tradizionale Pizza con salame piccante, salsiccia e peperoncino altra pizza con gorgonzola cipolla e prosciutto crudo con impasto ai sette cereali.Abbiamo poi preso come dolce un tortino al cocco con nutella ed un tartufo bianco affogato alla sambuca.Le pizze sono veramente molto buone come pure i dolci, insomma un bel posto!A presto!

This place offers gluten free alternatives for all their pizzas. Both the gluten free (mine) and the regular pizzas (boyfriend's) were very good. Nice for a big lunch or take away. The place is right next to a street with quite a lot of traffic, so we opted for take away. Very good value for money.

We went with friends for pizza. The pizzas were good with a variety of tasty toppings but some of us couldn't eat it a whole pizza as it was too filling. We could not resist the desserts, they were wonderful!

We come every summer to Marina di Massa for now more than 15 years, l'Anogolo della Pizza Da Barbara e Umberto is one of the most authentic and tasty Pizzeria we ever found in Tuscany and even in italy. Forget the thick and untasty pasta, a l'angolo la pasta is crunchy and the variety of flavours in very large, from the classic Margerita and Napoletana, to much more elaborated mix of vegetables, cheese, and assorted varieties of ham. The oven is a real one burning large pièces of wood.These delicuos dishes, not forgetting le focaccie are enhanced by the kindness and courtesy of Barbara and Umberto who welcome yo uon the open air terrasse. Without any doubt a place to come again and again on the sweet and pleasant evenings in Marina di Massa

If you try one time pizza at this place, believe me you will only wish to come here again. They have cozy outdoor seating place and tables inside with AC, very friendly and helpful staff, normal price for luxury food.

Delicious pizza for a low price. Located next to small park so you can sit down there if the place is full. This happens quite a lot as this is the best place around.
