If its authentic Italian pizza you want, then you will struggle to find any better. This is a no frills, sitting on benches, paper table cloths, three possibly four generation running an extremely popular pizzeria in a non de-script side road. Grandma was sat at the back keeping an eye on things whilst the rest of the family grandchildren included waited tables, cooked etc..It was heaving on Saturday night - all locals but don't let that put you off. They don't bite! Wafer thin pizzas and a bruschette to start is ample for anyone. You wont find any better....

Lovely location, but the food is not always of good quality. The staff was friendly and careful at the beginning of the meal (the first course was great) and absolutely distant when they took back the main course (that was a disgusting lamb, hard as a stone!).It's easy asking if everything is good when the dish is empty, but ignoring a dish sent back almost full...it's not professional. At La Quintessa I was served the worst lamb of my life.Never again!

Such a nice place with both Indoor and outdoor seating. We had a great meal and the waiters are nice. The Tiramisu is delicious, we all agreed that it was the best we had throughout the week we stayed in Marino.

A contemporary and elegant restaurant. Lovely on a summer evening, overlooking Lake Albano. Good classical Italian dishes but also with some flair and creativity. We had a tasty and pleasant dinner of seafood courses. I had my favourite dessert of Tiramisu while my husband had panna cotta with creme caramel. All portion sizes were just about right and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices a bit on the high side.

We were hungry, but not for a fussy gourmet dinner in Italy. DentroFuori looked like it might fit the bill, bit we weren't quite sure what it was! Located on a side street in Grottaferrata, DentroFuori is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth finding! We had no reservation, which caused some consternation at first, but once we were seated, our waiter was more than accommodating. On his advice we ordered a package deal for two including trittico romani, three croquet-type fried balls that were each different and delicious, and a paper cone filled with batter-fried onion rings, eggplant and zucchini---the lightest, crispiest I've ever tasted. Almost too much were the two pinsas that followed...a red mushroom, and a white four-cheese... The red was literally piled with mushrooms, and you could barely make out the crust for the amount of cheese on the white. It is hard to describe the crust--made up of three flours and baked in a wood-fired oven--- incredibly light, tasty, and yet a definite element in the whole. I wish we had several days to go back and sample more from the menu including their mixed meat hamburgers on their homemade burger rolls with homemade potato chips that looked super crispy and delicious.Very family friendly, serving great artisan beers and excellent wines.

If you are exploring the surroundings of Rome, this is an excellent place to sample the food that every Roman loves. The weekend trips to the Castelli are a local tradition that involves lots of traditional food and copious amounts of wine, and this is the place to dive in such a pleasant festive occupation. The food is excellent, but mind the size of the portions, and is well accompanied by local wines that you would not normally find abroad. The owners are charming people that will happily cater to your every need, but please...please...don't leave any food in the plate.

What a great experience we had at Wunder Kaffee. We were staying in Castel Gandolfo, but went here based on TripAdvisor recommendations. So far, only one review in English, which indicates it's not a tourist oriented place. But if you're staying in Castel Gandolfo or anywhere else near Marino, it is 100% worth getting out there! It's easy to reach by car and parking is not a problem in the (relatively new) parking garage off of Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. The interior is very cosy in retro style, jazz music playing in the background. They have a great (artisanal) beer selection and a good selection of wines. I enjoyed one glass of each.. Although it is mostly a local place, at least several people in the staff speak sufficient or good English. Simone was able to explain us the menu perfectly. We had very tasty seafood antipasti and pasta as main dish. The idea was to have a secondi piatti as well, but the first two courses were already enough for us, so we went straight to dessert. And wow, the desserts were delicious! We had a chocolate/orange cheese cake and a coffee/choco semifreddo. True delight..The staff was just wonderful to us, could not have been any better. Too bad we are leaving soon, because we would not hesitate to go back.10/10 from us to Wunder Kaffee. Thank you!! :)thank you and see you soon

Since 1990
We arrived about 7:00pm, a little too early, which gave half an hour to explore the surrounding cobbles streets and add to an already brimming appetite. The welcome was warm and hearty and a waitress helped to with our order from the menu. Two of our diners are vegetarian and they both were very impressed with the fare on offer. I opted for the cockles, not sure what the Italian word for it is but they were succulent. I also had an unexpected course of 'escalope of pork' which one of our guests ordered and misinterpreted as 'Scallops' needless to say there were no complaints here as I polished it off and it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the food and wine for those that indulged were both excellent. Highly recommended...

Serafino's pizzeria friggitoria artigianale
The pizza gigante is amazing, you can choose 4 different tastes. The base is crispy and thin as i like. All the different flavours are very well combined to offer you a an excelent moment of pleasure for a fair price. The inconvenient of the restaurant is the parking, so you will need to park a litlle far. But you can eat like a pig without feelings of guilty.
