Ci passiamo sopra e iniziamo a mangiare. Sugo salatissimo-immangiabile. Ritornano i troccoli.

I ate the best pasta allo scoglio in my life... I lived in Italy for a long time! Lots of seafood and simply marvelous... Nice menu for children too
On a sad Sunday, after leaving our island of happiness, we entrusted our lunch choice into the hands of a great friend and companion. Enthusiastically, he did not hesitate in dialing Nonna Linaâs number and reserve a table for a bunch of us, very noisy people with very noisy kids. I guess we scared the young couple having lunch there, but Nonna Linaâs staff was anything but disturbed by our irruption into the restaurant. What else, well the important stuff.....Fantastic food, with local, traditional taste that we will never forget, excellent wine and extremely friendly staff, at a very affordable price. We will go back as time permits, a gem in nice Lesina!

We stopped in Lesina by coinsidence and we were trully amazed... the restaurant in the middle of a small square, amazing food and wine and even more amazing staff. We felt really welcome.. after dinner the staff spent some time with us, sugested some places to visit and offered a digestive on the house... i am sure that when we return to Puglia we will come back, due to the kind people and delicious pizza! So, if in Puglia, donât miss it!

Good pizza. Good place. Good guy. There is nothing more to say! Ok, I'm forced to write a little more. The owner is very friendly and this is a small pizza place for takeaway mostly with only 3 tables inside. As we visited in off season there were no tables outside, but found room for 10 people and left very satisfied. You can choose from a variety of different pizza stiles and order individual slices.

We went to this restaurant in this otherwise uninteresting town upon the recommendation of our Italian friends who raved about it. They were not exaggerating. The chef is obviously very talented and cooks with passion. We started with some wonderful tender octopus and a stewed bean appetizer. For the first course, I had the pasta with bottarga which was extremely strong in flavour. I later found out that the chef makes the bottarga himself once a year. Our dinner companions ate the pasta with shrimp and mushrooms which they said was delicious. For the second course, I had the fried local fish. All the ingredients were fresh and the dishes were executed with finesse. For dessert, my son had the torrone semifreddo. It was a beautiful plate. I wish I could tell you how it tasted, but my son did not share. Instead, he inhaled it with pleasure, and has ever since reminisced about semifreddo as if it were sent from heaven. When our children became bored and impatient while we drank our coffees, the chef gave them a tour of the kitchen. Throughout our trip, we were impressed by how Italians accommodate children, and this restaurant, although not a family restaurant per se, was no exception. We are keeping the business card in our files and will return on our next trip to the region. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip.

Pizzeria restaurant with veranda overlooking the sea
I was influenced by nice review on trip advisor.unfortunately I have to disagree. Basic overall. Basic food, basic service, basic location. Pizza is bad. Fish not too bad but ridiculous portion considered the pkace where we were. Moreover, we didn't like the temptation to chit us on the bill...the firgot that pizza was a baby one and the pasta was an half portion for the irher baby. We won't be back
