Agriturismo Competamente immerso nel verde , allâinterno del parco del Cilento Vallo di Diano puoi trascorrere la tua vacanza , in totale relax gustando cibi genuini a km 0
If you are into local food and love freshest produce this is a place to consider! The restaurant consists of a few tables between some small buildings sitting on a piece of land owned by the Lombardi family. They serve what they produce so the dishes are seasonal and obviously come with the shortest possible logistics chain. So consequently the menu is rather short but this is definitely an advantage.Their pizza from a wood-fired oven is very good and comes as Margherita, Ortolana (with vegetables), Pomodorini (with cherry tomatoes) or with zucchini flowers and goat cheese. And there are a few more that I don't remember. In addition they offer variations of salsiccia (local sausage) and local dishes from their seasonal vegetables. The family is very friendly and they do speak English to help you with your choices. The tenuta opened in 2017; before they were running a pizzeria in nearby Marina di Ascea so they have a lot of experience. As the place is located on the countryside near a river make sure to protect yourself against the moskitos. It was not too bad when we were there for dinner but it was quite distracting.

...peró manca un piccolo sforzo, sarà per la prossima visita.Siamo venuti qui già 4 anni fa su consiglio e la pizza (napoletana doc) era eccellente. Siamo tornati anche quest'anno e c'eravamo quasi.Abbiamo assaggiato l'antipasto misto salumi / formaggi, ma forse dovrei dire cilentani / parmigiani: provolone, capocollo, bufaline, crudo, parmigiano. Confuso... ma eccellente. Punterei di piú sulle eccellenze locali.Pizza all'apparenza ottima: cornicione, dimensioni e cottura maculata.

We went here twice on our last trip. The first time we sat outside under a roof with a view of the mountains. Most restaurants in this area are known for their seafood. This one had great seafood. The second time we were with a friend that loves this place. It was evening and we ate inside. We highly recommend it.

It was so good we had to visit twice, as a large family of 14 its not always easy to get lunch together, the Barakuda Beach Bar was so helpful and happy to move the tables around to accommodate us all. The choice of food was great, the pizza's fantastic. Our age range from 5 years to 60 years old was well looked after and great value for money.

We had several lunches and dinners over there during our 12 days stay in Ascea. La Porta Rosa offers great marine and terrestrial food at reasonable prices. Also good local wines and elicious home desserts. Very quick and friendly service. People say that they also serve a good pizza but we never tried it. What else to meet everybody's taste?
Where to eat Neapolitan food in Marina di Casal Velino: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is by far our favorite restaurant in this area. We have a home here and visit often. Each visit finds us at this restaurant several times. The staff is very friendly, service is excellent and the food and wine are the best. They have a big wood burning oven for real Naples style pizza. They have excellent fish caught fresh from the area and pastas to die for. You can sit inside or outside in a covered area. Parking is ample but this restaurant does get crowded late at night (when most Italians eat dinner). The beach town of Marina Casal Velino is very close by as is it's sister mountain town of Casal Velinio. This is located in the Cilento National Park.

Recommended by friends we visited one evening on a midweek evening in September. Warm welcome, well kept grounds and restaurant. Mixed house antipasti â¬10 had a bit of everything and was enough to share for 2. Veal chop and mixed grilled meats very tasty and nicely cooked at â¬8 each. Good well priced wine list - we paid â¬15 for the maffini Kleos which was god value. Attentive service in a well spaced dining room. Gardens look fab but too dark and late in the year to try. And they archived the unusual combo amongst Southern Italian toilets: toilet seat, toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels and very clean. Well worth a visit.

We met friends at the beach and they suggested we join them for dinner at Mamma Angelino's/ What a night and what a dinner. This restaurant is on the street that parallels the beach in Marina Casal Velino. If you walk out the restaurant's front door and cross the street you are on the beach! Our friend, who is Italian and lives in this town and owns the best bakery in town, Franco's Bar ordered our meal with the owner. Plate after plate of different fish came out. Each better than the previous. When I saw our friend about to order entrees, I said BASTA (enough) we all agreed. The food was fabulous and the service great. We will return.
