My fiancé and I stopped at the Pizza Man after a long bike ride at the Kingdom Trails. I had the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo and he had a Calzone. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Even though we were very hungry after the ride, we couldn
We went here after a long day of mountain biking and loved our meal! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my boyfriend had a pasta dish as well. The red sauce is really good as were the small salads that came with dinner. We sat in the bar where the service (and margarita!) was fantastic. We tried to go back the next evening but the place was packed. Definitely a great place to stop if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

We eat here regularly and agree that they have the best pizza in the area. Plus, they let you know they appreciate your business. Excellent delivery service. The restaurant is always clean and service is super.

The Italian food was simply ok, the ice cream shop was much better. Plus the staff was super friendly and kind. We were with our 10 year old daughter to whom we had promised ice cream. Staff had just closed restaurant but were kind enough to prepare the ice cream for her. Thank you!

My family had a house in East Burke, VT for over 30 years where we were heavily invested in the Winter skiing and the Nation's leading Ski Racing Academy, BMA. The local economy has historically been deeply intwined with the ups and downs of the Skli Industry. The mountain has suffered 4 bankruptcies and is in Receivership as I write this. I give this background because historically it has been very difficult to sustain a quality restaurant in the area. The dramatic positive change in the local economic environment has been brought about by in the introduction and the successful development of what is now considered one of the country's leading Mt Biking venues! This sport is enjoyed all four seasons. Enter the Foggy Goggle Osteria restaurant, started by the former director of food services of the Ski Racing School, BMA. The restaurant is tucked back off the main street in the center of East Burke Village. The food was flavorful and healthy. Service was personable and attentive. I asked the waitstaff my favorite restaurant query: "If this is the only time in my life that I have the opportunity to eat here, what would you recommend?" Without a moment of hesitation she replied: " the Bolognese!" She was right on. I was delighted to see the town full of healthy, athletic Mt Bikers. A piece of my heart and spirit has always been in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and I am so gratified that there is a sustainable substance to it's future, and one that will ensure the survivability and success of the Foggy Goggle Osteria!
