Stopped by on road trip to Denver. Nephew suggested this local place. They had a great variety of pizzas and burgers. Decided on pizza and it was good. Great crust with a number of toppings. Good selection of beers also. Give it a try when in LA Mars.

With other Pizza Ranch franchises, if you like their food. This one is a disappointment, unfortunately.Outside of the cool bank vault doors, the decor is odd and feels "cold", including the layout. I understand you would not be visiting for the looks but for the food. So...The marinara sauce bowl by the pizza was never refilled, the macaroni and cheese was watery and lukewarm, the pizza we ordered "special" (as they ask at the register) came out wrong and not how we had requested it. The saddest part is how unfriendly the staff here was. Not one of them was smiling or interested in having the briefest of conversations with any of the patrons. It was not busy, so it wasn't a matter of hustling to clear tables and get people seated for turnover.We skipped their dessert table and headed down the street for ice cream instead.

Jerry's Pizza loyal followers for a good reason. They are local to Sioux City with several locations there in addition to the Le Mars spot.If you prefer thick crust, you might not like Jerry's. Their crust is unique, almost cracker like. In my opinion, it is awesome. People who have left the area often have Jerry's Pizza on their "must-stop" lists when returning to town. Alternatively, I have had friends ask me to bring them a pizza when I visit them.
