Acqua e Farina Wood-Fired Neapolitan pizzeria has been found by Anna and Pasquale, owners of Vecchia Osteria ,well known Italian restaurant in Newtown. Acqua e Farina, family runned authentic pizzeria Napoletana, offer the freshest ingredient like San Mar
Tried this restaurant because of the reviews. First of all, very small place, but crowded (thought that was a good sign). Parking bad, rushed through dinner. We had 2 personal pizzas, 2 sodas & the meatball appetizer for a whopping $50. The pizza was mostly crust, the sauce & cheese were about 2 inches from the sides & sauce was acidic (weâve eaten Neapolitan pizza before). The meatballs were $14 for 2 (generous size), reviews said 3. Very little amount of ricotta & mozzarella inside, plus cold inside (maybe frozen & reheated) & 3 pieces of grizzle (ugh!). Donât know why they got such high reviews!?!?As our background is Italian, our grandmothers would be appalled!

Family hosted a celebration here for about 30 family members. Cute and private back room could easily accommodate all of us. Their service was wonderful. We had a choice from 3 entrees and I can attest the veal was wonderful. Salad was special and tasty too. Definitely would visit if I was in the area.

Pizza is good and fresh. The pasta dishes we have sampled have all been very good too. They are also involved with the local community which is an added plus in my book. Always friendly and welcoming when you come in. Delivery is pretty fast and it has always been hot.

I have been to the Pizza Pie restaurant many times over the year. All pies, sandwiches and hoagies have been wonderful. My family especially loves the "Brooklyn Pie" and the white pizza, with spinach and garlic. There is a great selection of pizza pies, entrees, and sandwiches. They will to my knowledge also make a special sandwich or pizza for you as long as they have the ingredients. The family and staff are also so friendly and helpful. It's a great little restaurant to visit. Also, although small if you have someone who uses a wheelchair, it is large enough to accommodate one.

Food is a very important part of the italian culture and varies greatly from region to region. While I have been heavily influenced by the cultures of Sicily, Arosso's menu is not limited. At Arosso we pride ourselves on our ability to make your every occ
It is HOT inside. Not quite as hot as it was outside today, Father's Day, 2018. We asked them to turn up the air conditioning, they did a little, but, I was sweating as I ate. I had Shrimp Scampi which was absolutely delicious. Had eaten there before and it was hot inside then. Don't expect anything fancy, ceiling tiles are warped and askew, there's an air duct hose just hanging there, it's an old building that could use some rehab inside. The wait staff was very good and friendly. No complaints other than the temperature. My dad enjoyed his meal, that's what's really important.

Bertucci's restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of its community. Like the original Bertucci's, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant exper
Does anyone ever read reviews about chain restaurants? Probably not - but I'm writing this nonetheless. This was the second time that I attempted to order takeout food and the second time that they forgot part of my order.A few months ago, they completely left out an entree. After a phone call, the manager credited my card. This visit, they forgot half of my entree. Fortunately, I checked before I drove away. I returned and told the person at the register that there was no pasta with the eggplant. She replied that it comes with broccoli. I replied that there was no broccoli either. I asked for the pasta and she repeated that it came only with broccoli. I reminded her that is not what is says on the online menu. Continuing the debate, she said, "Well, if you wanted pasta you have to order it." Again, I told her that I ordered the pasta when I placed my order on the phone. What an ordeal for a small serving of pasta. Although polite, she was resolute that I had to plead for the pasta.Sadly, what actually prompted me to write was sitting at home with this miserable food. The eggplant was so greasy that we just threw it away. The salmon entree was the size of a child's portion and overcooked.Heather H, we're sorry to hear about your recent takeout experience. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and make us aware of your concerns. We'll be sure to share your review and feedback with our local management team to address your concerns and improve our guest experience. Once again, we'd like to thank you for taking the time to write this review as we greatly value your feedback and would sincerely appreciate another opportunity at serving you better in the future.

Was here last week and hubby and I shared one of the pannini sandwiches, and also my order of eggplant rollatini. BOTH were excellent.! Went here today with a friend for lunch and I ordered the Florentine pannini - WAY tooo dry....NOT the usual quality.. Winston took care of replacing lunch with eggplant parmesan and THAT was good. Will still continue to go here, but need to work on making sure pannini is not dried. Thanks for your taking care of the situation!!!
