Sammy's is getting bigger and probably richer. An enlarged dining room and is the kitchen also bigger? A Friday night "pizza night" and m' date had cauliflower-crusted pizza and I had baked spaghetti. I don't think either are on the menu but Sammy can get creative if needed. Busy as all get out but everyone hustles and the tables get quickly bused, one of my personal restaurant requirements. Pete wipes everything down, including the booth seats and Sammy's atmosphere is bright, cheery, welcoming, and clean. A delicious meal and a couple of $2.50 bottled Coronas and I am one happy camper. I had heard Sammy's was going to get into the pizza delivery business. I didn't think it was a good idea; dance with who brung 'ya. Have they shelved the idea? I think so.

Very small mom and pop feel. Food was outstanding. Diverse menu with plenty of options. Pizza was great as well as the manicotti and priced right. Highly recommend. Support this local business. You won't be disappointed.

Easy to phone in orders. Food is prepared promptly and ready to go when I arrive. I like the bacon/jalapeño cheesy bread for lunch. It's enough for two people as a lunch. Friendly staff. Consistently good. Not gourmet pizza. It's a fair value for what you pay.

Veal parmesan and a side of Marinara spaghetti and a cold beer. The veal was delicious and very hot, same with the side dish. Not very crowded on this post-hurricane night. The service is always top drawer and the tables get bused quickly. When he has a break, Sammy comes into the dining room and chats with his customers, a nice touch. To boot, the guy is quick-witted â¦. "Nice to see you, Sammy." "I'd rather be seen than viewed." Sammy's is a pizza joint but don't ignore the menu's other entrees.
