Couldnât get a table at another restaurant so stumbled across this beautiful Italian restaurantDidnât disappoint quality food, beautiful mushroom entree, gnocchi and prawn main . Service was amazing all super attentive and helpful with quick service on a busy Friday night.

We went to this lovely looking pizzeria with good friends on Sunday night. We were very happy to enjoy a lovely dinner with great woodfired pizzas with yummy buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and rocket.We started with arancini and enjoyed them very much especially to dip them in a napolitana sauce. Then I tried my friends pizzette and they were so yum.The ambience is lovely with great friendly owners that made you feel so comfortable. All the staff were amazing and we really enjoyed our night. To complete the evening we tried the baked cheesecake with Rasberry Couli which was the special dessert of the night and it was decadent. My husband ordered the italian dessert Baba and enjoyed it very much. A great taste of Italy with great owners and waitressers. We look forward to going back soon. We read the Brilliant TA reviews and eventually found the 11 minute down a side street off Little Collins St. Itâs a rapid service there hence the title so fortunately tables come available quickly. The salami pizza and prawn salad that we chose were amazing along with the lovely Cabinet offering. Great service from Londoner Ali which was a delight. Do not miss this fantastic pizzeria, fab value at a great price.

Looking for a new Italian in the city we went here based on Trip Advisor's positive reviews.Good looking room that is deceiving from the outside. Light wood and well spaced tables made it a comfortable space.Ordered Rocket & pear salad, Salmon Caserecce pasta and Salumi pizza. Salad and pizza were excellent and good portions. Quality ingredients on all. The pizza base was just right and stayed crispy in the middle unlike many wood fired pizzas were you end up with a soggy middle. My partner enjoyed the Caserecce but found the portion size a bit small commenting that I would still be hungry had I ordered it. Had a good Valpolicella Ripasso to go with it. $130 for the meal with wine being half of the bill.Service was excellent - prompt, friendly, not pretentious or hovering.Worth noting the pasta prices at Da Guido 365 are less than their location in Lygon street.Open for lunch and dinner but closed from 3-6 in the afternoon.Very much enjoyed this meal and will be back ourselves and with friends.

Di Palmas restaurant seems to have been around for many years and still maintains a high standard of traditional Italian fare along with a great variety of excellent pizzas.We arrived at 6.30pm on a Sunday night and the place was buzzing. A number of different dining areas deliver a range of dining atmospheres all offering the sounds and aromas of a great Italian restaurant.The pasta is excellent and quite varied, and the pizzas are mouth-wateringly good.If we had one criticism, it was the extreme swiftness of the delivery of the dishes. We hardly had time to order and the meals were arriving.Prices are certainly reasonable for this quality. Will visit again.

My husband took me out to this restaurant for my birthday. It well and truly supports all the positive reviews it has received thus far. Lovely atmosphere. The food was superb. We started with an antipasto tasting plate which was delicious - all parts of it, we both had fish of the day for mains, which was grilled snapper with small potatoes, beans and broccoli, but also ordered a salad to share. I always think fish is the acid test of a restaurant which Il Duca passed with flying colours. There is a nano second between cooked and tough - this was sublime. It flaked easily from the fork, the flavour not disguised by any sauces - but the fish was flavoursome and delicious. The salad likewise was delicious. We shared the gelato and sorbet - yum! The service was terrific. Water continually topped up, drinks appearing as ordered - every attention to our needs. No delays at all with our food appearing in rapid succession. Happy to recommend, and if weâre over this way again, weâll be back!
