Visiting friends who brought us here. First, our server, Maybe (her name), was terrific and made a nice meal even nicer. My wife had the special of the day which was a Seafood Risotto and was terrific. I had Lasagna which was very good. This is a different yes.

Yes, if you go into Pizza Hut, you get what you expect. Thin crust and not loads of cheese, or any other toppings. The kids like it, but when it comes to REAL Pizza, better to go to a real pizza place. We went because of the kids. They were happy. Dessert pizza was OK.

We decided to have pizza for supper. I am so glad that I went to the store instead of calling. The employee was brand new and could not even answer the simplist questions or operate the computer. That is OK, everyone is new at some point, but the problem was that the "manager" left her with us without helping her. The employee had to keep going back to the "manager" who was in the back somewhere and asked her questions. Finally after several frustrating minutes, the "manager" came up front and completed taking our order. If I had called, I know that I would have just hung up and called someone else. What was so important that the "manager" would abandon her employee. Maybe the "manager" does not value her customers or value doing business. Maybe the "manager" just wanted to close up and go home or just wished that we would be frustrated and go away. However the Pizza and the breadsticks were pretty good
We hadn't been in a Happy Joe's in many years, but with this one recently ooening, decided to give it a try. We are glad we did! We were there in the middle of the afternoon, so an odd time, with not a single customer oresent when we arrived. We were greeted upon entering, and oursuant to posted instructions, grabbed menus and found a place to sit while making our selection. Once that decision was made, we went to the counter, placed our order, and paid. With our drink glasses, silverware, and plates in hand, we headed for our table. The salad bar was small, but contained adequate options, with everything appearing to be fresh. It did not disappoint. Our calzone arrived just as we were finishing our salads. It was hot and nicely cut. We really enjoyed the thickness and taste of the crust. And there was just the right amount of ordered ingredients inside. We liked the flavor of the sauce, but thought there could have been just a little more. And if you enjoy sauerkraut in/on your pizza as we do, this is the place to go. Most places which do offer sauerkraut as a topping must rinse it, as you can generally not taste that unique flavor, even though you can see it. At this Happy Joe's you can taste the kraut, and we loved it. We will be back.
