If you are in Ogulin or somewhere around it, you should definitely visit the Ive restaurant. The restaurant is located on the shore of the Sabljaci lake where you can swim or walk by the lake. Parking lots are big enough and there will be no problem for finding a free parking lot.The interior of the restaurant looks like it's gonna take a wedding in half an hour. A more modern approach would be better choice for ralatively frigid space. The waitresses are very kind and helpful. The menu is quite big and you can choose from salad and pasta to meat. We ate chicken risotto which was delicious, pasta with zuchini was a bit overcooked but tasty and mixed meat of the choice of the chef. Portions are pretty big and I do not think you'll be hungry after lunch. Unfortunately, I did not try a pizza but hopefully I will try the next time. For desert they offerred crepes, ice cream...but we skipped desert.See you next time!

Temporarily closed for renovation and merging with a new hotel. We will be back soon. Thank you for understanding.
Well, it's a nice, pretty big place, with separate "dining" and "drinking" areas - quite empty when we arrived. Went there after some rave reviews of their pizzas - which are named after the town's quarters, which basically turned into a "look at ingredients and identify" game. The menu has some interesting twists, but we went for some basic choices. Italian-style thin crust pizza with good ingredients, but, in the end, perhaps a tad bland, with the knives not quite handling the crackery bottoms well. Pretty good lasagna from what I've heard too. The pizzas went from 6.75⬠(50kn) upwards - which is a bit expensive for Croatia - en par with a lot of pizzas of this class in (the more expensive) Zagreb, some of which impressed me more. Certainly not "cheap eats" as described, distinctly (upper) mid range for its class price-wise. Okay beer selection. Professional service by all means.Within its context, in Karlovac, it's certainly something different - which I'm sure the locals can appreciate. And if you love thin crust pizza, then it's likely well worth it and almost certainly a 5, but for me, subjectively, no, but close and deserving of support.

Enjoy every night live music entertainment during summer time! Well known Lika lamb, veal, venison dishes, fish, vegetarian specialties and a lot of deserts will satisfy the most delicate palate. Enjoy a great selection of some of the best Croatian wines
We have had family dinner and did enjoy the well prepared food (incl. trout from barbecue grilll. local meat platter, veal, schnitzel and home made apple strudel) - service was great - local Muscat wine being served was amazing. There was great live music offered which made the evening unforgettable ...

We were staying in small village nearby with no shops, bakery or restaurant. We stumbled into this bistro by chance, only to be very surprised in the end. We took breakfast and the coffee is ABSOLUTELY amazing (one of the best coffee I ever had). Personell is very kind, and the bistro is very authentic. It is absolutely no tourist place but frequently visited by local people. Breakfast is simple but very tasty and at very reasonable prices. We went there for a second time at our departure and would go there any time again (especially for the coffee).

We stopped at this restaurant to have a beer and a short rest during a long car trip. The whole area is lovely with many picturesque waterfalls within a short stroll from this bar. The staff was friendly and efficient. The outdoor terrace was very pleasant. We followed our drink with a short walk to see the area.

Not a massive menu thought there would have been more local dishes on offer. Not a lot of atmosphere maybe some background music would be nice although there was a TV playing in front part of restaurant.

Pizza is great. Ambience also. Great for nonsmokers and smokers. They have big portions but I didn't like pasta.

Wellcome in Å tross, street food&bar opened in feb 2016 in centre of Ogulin. Come and try the best pizza in town, burgers, grill sandwiches, ÄevapÄiÄi, sausages, hot-dogs, salad, bbq or spicy chicken wings, donut or ice cream and drink beer, wine or coffee
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Josipdol. It seems to be frequented mainly by locals although the menu is in English also. There is an outside terrace and an inside basement area. Both times the food and service were excellent and the value was amazing. The first time I had pork skewers and the meat was very tasty and tender. The Jumbo burgers live up to their name and the regular pizzas are massive too (I don't think any human could eat a Jumbo one but you can take your leftovers home!). A meal of two pizzas, a burger with fries, a litre of wine and mineral water came to just 180 kunar (about £21).
